In Europe the Diaspore Kurds have made some new Month names - which are not historically nor are they culturally corrrect... Authors like Amed Tîgrîs have done the Kurds a bears favour as we call it in Norway
They are:
Spring: Adar, Nîsan, Gulan
Summer: Xizêran, Tîrmeh, Tebax
Automn: Îlon, Chiriya Pêshîn, Chiriya Pashîn
Winter: Chileyê (or Kanûna) Pêshîn, Chileyê (or Kanûna) Pashîn, Shibat.
These names also have a lingual meaning - but they are artificillial and month names like: Nîsan, Adar (which is "AWDAR" in Kurdish) and îlon are from the Babylonian Era...
