I keep writing, I keep arguing with them, and I keep trying to gather together all the support I can. I keep telling every Kurd I can that they MUST lead, take action, speak against terrorists and fundamentalism to dissassociate themselves from them, but all I can figure out is that the US wants to make Turkey as happy as possible, and make Kurds as happy as possible and I guess they want to see what the Kurds do with Southern Kurdistan. Turkey has a good lobby, and the Kurds need to join forces with other lobbies in the west in order to get a faster jump up on the Turks. It's not that I don't recognize this double standard, it's that I can only find a step-by-step approach to an optimal solution, even if it is never a perfect solution.
BTW: Heval Your English writing skills are really great. Do you teach English? You should. I could learn a lot from your grammar and writing skills.
Thank you but no I'm not. I never really thought about that much.
I agree. The Kurdish lobby does need to be strengthened and alliances would be a great way to do that. I live in the US where the only way a Kurdish lobby will really get attention is through the support of others since our numbers are so low. However, I'm a bit curious as to how strong the Kurdish lobby is in Europe. I have never really looked into that myself, but they do have large populations in Germany and Sweden and I would think they could accomplish a lot.
