Iran sent back four terrorists of the Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) to the organization instead of Turkey. Iranian security forces launched an operation against a truck at the border carrying clothes, food and nylon to the Mountain of Kandil where PKK camps are located.

The security forces returned the four PKK terrorists not to Turkey but to a PKK terrorist, code named Hosmend, who is living in the village of Avlatan. This raised diplomatic tension between the two countries. The episode became clear when the four terrorists fled from the PKK and surrendered to the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). Turkish Foreign Ministry is argued to have delivered a note to Iran over the notification of the General Staff about this practice that upset Ankara.

The terrorists, Faysal Demir, Nuri Turan, Zeyni Simsek, and Hamdiye Demir were brought by the agency of KDP to the Habur Border Gate. The terrorists that were submitted to the Sirnak Jandarma (National Guard) on November 11 recounted how they were surrendered to Hosmed. The terrorists were put into prison after they stated they want to take advantage of the Repentance Law.

Meanwhile, following the use of “walkman” by PKK/Kongra-Gel against the security forces, the organization has nowadays developed a trap bomb that works with a mechanism of "auto alarm remote controller".

The security forces are now on alert against the camouflage bomb that was developed within the framework of detonating remote-controlled explosives. The organization began to set up so-called "customs offices" along the Iranian border to North Iraq to collect money from weapon as well as from narcotic smugglers under the name of "taxation," officials said.

Strange news, but Zaman is untrustable anyways.
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

I am not surprised. Much members of the PKK fled the organization, fearing to be killed or tortured. Iran sometimes brings them back to Turkey, sometimes to PKK, it depends on negociations with the Party or the country !
In fact we could sadly affirm that their fate would not be better in PKK prisons than in Turkey. They could even be more badly tortured or assassinated by the PKK which is not watched by NGOs.
