Not much that would make a big difference. In my university I created a Kurdish society which I'm the president off; I did so to educate people on the Kurdish cause and culture, help Kurds socialize with other Kurds and finally having realized that we have quite a fair amount of international students from Kurdistan that have issues with the English language I set up an exchange program where they send their reports to more experienced English speakers such as myself and others for a brief review and feedback. This system helps both the international and home students as it allows the assessor (i.e. me) to enhance their analyzing skills and helps the international student achieve better grades and ultimately a more respectable degree.
I post on many other Western forums again to educate Kurds and have so far written two articles in my spare time. They can be found here:

The major problem in Kurdistan is the backwarded islamic mentality that is dominating our peoples' brains, our women are covered more and more, mullahs and mosques are invading our towns, these ignonorant people are misleading the new generation of Kurds, men marry more than one woman destroying the life of the kids, honour killing are everywhere in Kurdistan, our youth learn only ignorance from mosques, our women are degraded and oppressed, arabic language and culture is dominating our Kurdish culture, our people are brainwashed, we should do something to stop this madness.

Thank you Piling
I do my best as well but it is NEVER enough, had you noticed that I am losing my patience with all the people who sit and do nothing
I knew that there was someone else who cared
All we need are another million and Kurdistan will be free
