Kurds need a leaders who puts the needs of the Kurdish population foremostDemirtaş was happy to lead while he was standing on a platform and people were applauding him, but not happy to be a leader once he was imprisoned
Demirtaş stepped down from politics at the start of this year, stating he would not stand for any political positions again
Demirtaş is the reason many of his co-workers and fellow were imprisoned, him and his open support for the PKK
In my valued opinion, Demirtaş stood for the Presidency making use of Kurds just so that he could go to the European Convention on Human Rights and claim his rights have been denied
There is absolutely
NO WAY Demirtaş would have become President - Kurds should have
ALL united and voted against Erdogan
One of the main problems is that Kurds never uniteUnited Kurds could have easily prevented the construction of the dam at Hasankeyf
United Kurds could have campaigned to have Ocalan freed
United Kurds could have insist the PKK be removed from the list of terrorist organisations
United Kurds could have bought about changes within the PKK making it more palatable to international support, rather than allowing it to remain a left wing Marxist group that only other such groups support
Be it Middle US or Middle England, the Kurds and the PKK desperately need support from the International Community
Good Thoughts Good Words Good Deeds
