Al-Sistani rejects federal states in Iraq except for Kurdist

This really good idea I just read in http://www.kurdmedia.com/news.asp?id=7168 about Southern Shiite wont autonomy, the only way for the Kurds to have any advantage in the new Iraq is to go on the offensive politically, by forcing the rest of Iraq to weary about their own problems, and less about the Kurds.

I don't think it is for him to decide... People are not to be dictated by a MULLAH! They must listen to the majority and do as the majority wishes - Although without harming the minority...

yeah but you see at first he didn't wont to give the the Kurds any autonomy at all.Now that he hears about the Southern Shiite about wonting autonomy, put him on the defensive, now he's not even talking negative about Kurdish autonomy any more.

No disrespect to my shyia brothers, but Al-sistani is tricky. Not long ago, a group of kurdish imams went to visit him, and told him that kirkuk is kurdish land and that its haram to steal land from others. Al-sistani Agreeded with them, yet he still did nothing. We will wait and see.
