lol, I had no idea it was a national Azeri day. Anyways my Azerbaijani Turkish skill is due to living amongst Iranian Azerbaijanis for some 10 years. Otherwise it would be definitely a demanding work to learn any Turkic language on one's own. Turkic languages sound really hard to Indo-European speakers to be learnt. Anyways I think I was lucky in this case. I see so you belong to the Mongolian part of Tuvan settlements.

Yes people at your age are supposed to be young and full of creative plans to make a prosperous future.

I see, is there still anything related to Tengerism within Tuvan Shamanism? And I am curious to know what do you call "God" in your language? It should be something like "Tunger" or "Tenger" I presume? By the way Tuvan sources, like other Siberian and Russian minorities languages, are written in a Cyrillic alphabet which is indeed my nemesis.

Yea, a fair amount of Tuvans are still into Shamanism, and it's closely related to the Tengerism/Tengriism.
In my language ''God''=Тэнгэр=Ten-ger. ''God'' is more like a energy or force in nature though, and not a ''Personal God'', such as in other Religions like islam etc...
Well, I feel the same as you do about the Perso-Arabic script.

Neither of them, they are Azarbaijan (Western and Eastern) provinces of Iran. Nonetheless the first one, Western Azarbaijan, is populated mostly (~60%) by Kurds. Azerbaijani people are originally an Iranian folk, though their language has been Turkified during the last 10 centuries. Nevertheless a slight number of Azerbaijanis (in both Iran and republic of Azerbaijan) still speak the ancient Iranian language of Azerbaijan, namely Tati. Also there is a body of Tati words within Azerbaijani Turkish lexicon which you could never ever find in any other Turkic languages at all. By the way there is no significant difference between Southern and Northern dialects of Azerbaijani Turkish, bucur degil qardash?

Yes "Tenger" is definitely the superior Mongolian deity of "sky" which is later adopted by Turkic people during their tribal confederations with Mongols.

Oh yes, Arabic script is absolutely harder! Maybe it is only a few degrees easier than Japanese. lol.

Well, my Fiancée and some of other of my Azeri friends think of where you're from as 'Güney Azərbaycan', that's why I mentioned above that I don't think such...
Yea, I agree with ya, as I also share your opinion regarding Azerbaijani people and their language being Türkified, and about the dialects of Azerbaijani Türkish as well, qardaş.
