A Letter To God, Kurdish poem by Sherko Bekas for Halabcha, Translation to english by me:

After suffocation of Halabcha
I sent a long plead to god
before sending it I read it for a tree
the tree cried.

a carrier pigeon asked me, how are you gonna send it?
dont expect me, I can not fly that high.

at the nightfall, an angle wearing a black suite came to me
in my poetic world and said:

don't worry I will try to deliver it for you
but no promise that I deliver it directly to god.

I said thanks that would be great !
the angle flew and took my plead with herself.

the other day she came back.
the 4th degree secretary of god's office
written a reply in Arabic under my letter:
"you dumb ! , Write your letter in Arabic, nobody speaks Kurdish here and we wont pass it to God ..."

شێرکۆ بێکەس
لە دوای خنکانی هەڵەبجە
سکاڵایێکی درێژم نووسی بۆ خوا
بەر لە خەڵکی
بۆ درەختێکم خوێنەوە
درەخت گریا
لە پەناوە،
باڵندەیێکی پۆستەچی
وتی: «باشە کێ بۆت ئەبا؟
گەر بە تەمای منی بیبەم،
من ناگەمە عەرشی خودا»
بۆ شەو درەنگ
فریشتەی ڕەشپۆشی شێعرم
وتی: «تۆ هیچ خەمت نەبێ؛
من بۆت ئەبەم هەتا سەرێ،
تا کەشکەڵان
بەڵام بەڵێنت نایەمێ خۆی نامەکەم لێ وەر گرێ؛
خۆ دەیزانی، خودای گەورە کێ ئەیبینێ؟»
وتم: «سوپاس، تۆ هەڵفڕە»
فریشتەی ئیلهام،
هەڵفڕیو
لە گەڵ خۆیا سکاڵای برد
ڕۆژی دوایی کە هاتەوە،
سکرتێری پلە چواری نووسینگەی خوا
«عوبێد» ناوێ
هەر لە سەر هەمان سکاڵاو لە دامێنا
بە عەرەبی بۆی نووسیبووم
«گەوجە!
بیکە بە عەرەبی
کەس لێرە کوردی نازانێ و
نایبەین بۆ خوا!

Translation to Persian
نامە ای به خدا/ شیرکو بیکس
پس از مرگ حلبچه
شكایت‌نامه‌ای بلند به خدا نوشتم
قبل از هر كسی
پیش درختی خواندمش
درخت گریست!
در كنار او پرنده‌ای پستچی
گفت:
اما چه كسی نامه‌ات را می‌رساند؟
روی من حساب نكن
من به عرش خدا نمی‌رسم!
شباهنگام
فرشته‌ی سیه‌پوشِ شعرم
گفت: غم مخور
من می‌برمش تا كهكشان
اما قول نمی‌دهماو تحویلش بگیرد
تو خود می‌دانی
كه خداوند بزرگ را
چه كس می‌بیند؟
گفتم: سپاسگزارم … پرواز كن!
فرشته‌ی الهام
شكایت‌نامه را با خود برد و پرید…
فردا كه بازگشت
مسئول درجه چهارِ دفترِ خدا
«عبید» نامی
زیر همان شكایت‌نامه
با زبان عربی نوشته بود:
اَبله!
به عربی ترجمه‌اش كن
اینجا كسی كُردی نمی‌فهمد و
به خدایش نمی‌رسانیم!
