Israeli forces massacre children in Gaza

Israeli occupation forces kill five children and injure others playing in a neighborhood in Gaza

Adding to their list of massacres committed on the 373rd day of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation forces directly attacked a group of children in the al-Shati refugee camp, near the coast of Gaza City.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent said that the massacre claimed the lives of five children and injured several others on Sunday. The children were killed and wounded while playing together in a neighborhood in Gaza.

Additionally, the Israeli occupation is besieging the Jabalia refugee camp, were the bodies of at least three martyrs were recovered by authorities from the Tal al-Zaatar neighborhood.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent also reported that three injured individuals were transported to the al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat after an Israeli airstrike targeted a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

Israeli siege on hospitals ongoing for 9-days

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza issued a statement outlining the dire circumstances in the northern Gaza Strip. This region is currently facing the devastating effects of the Israeli regime's third military ground campaign within just one year.

The ministry explained that numerous bodies and wounded civilians are either abandoned in Gaza's streets or stuck underneath the rumble. This is due to the fact that authorities and emergency services are blocked from entering such areas by Israeli occupation forces, or due to the Israeli regime's attacks on emergency services, which have left most of their heavy equipment inoperable.

Moreover, Israeli authorities are blocking the transfer of blood units to hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, as part of their campaign to debilitate the work of medical services in the area.

Specifically, the Israeli regime has focused its pressure campaign on the Kamal Adwan Hospital, threatening its director with a fate similar to what transpired in the al-Shifa Medical Complex, whose staff were abused and facilities destroyed.

The ministry said that only a "small quantity of fuel" was delivered to Kamal Adwan Hospital after several attempts to secure such a delivery.

For nine days, hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip have endured a relentless Israeli siege, the Ministry of Health explained, which has endangered the lives of critically ill patients. The effects of the Israeli siege have also impacted the al-Maamadani Baptist Hospital, which also came under a direct strike in the early stages of the war on Gaza. The hospital issued an urgent call for blood donation to save the lives of wounded Palestinians.

Al-Shifa Hospital receives a group of patients

On a brighter note, months after the horrendous Israeli onslaught on al-Shifa, Gaza's largest medical complex, the Ministry of Health said that the hospital was able to receive a group of wounded Palestinians, who were transferred from Kamal Adwan on Sunday.

This development marks another feat for the besieged territory's medical sector, as well as authorities, who continue to battle the Israeli regime's war against vital services.

The ministry also announced that it would initiate the second phase of the polio vaccination campaign tomorrow.

'Israel' burns Palestinians alive
    in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital
Tens of injuries and three martyrs have been recorded as "Israel" bombards displaced Palestinians' in a Gazan hospital

Three Palestinians were killed and over 40 others were injured in the Israeli bombardment of makeshift tents set up by displaced Palestinians on the grounds of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

The Gaza Civil Defense reiterated that not a single safe place in the Strip exists, with the most recent attack against civilians and patients at the hospital serving as additional proof.

As a result of the violent bombings, fires broke out, burning at least 30 tents and civilians sheltering inside. The raging flames had been spreading to the hospital itself as civil defense crews tried to contain them.

'Israel' massacres children in an alleged safe school

This follows another horrific massacre carried out by the occupation in al-Mufti School in the Nuseirat refugee camp, also in central Gaza.

22 Palestinians were killed, including 15 children and one woman, and around 80 others were injured. Gaza's Media Office stressed that the occupation deliberately bombed the school, knowing that it sheltered thousands of displaced civilians.

Additionally, the school was not labelled as a combat zone, essentially meaning it was a safe place for refugees.

The Al-Mujahideen Resistance movement condemned both massacres, saying they reflect the hypocrisy of the world, which remains silent as innocent civilians bear the brunt of the Israeli aggression that violates all human values and international law.

"These vengeful zionist crimes against innocent, unarmed civilians come after the cowardly soldiers of the occupation received painful blows from the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, aiming to break the will to resist and challenge among our people and our nation."

The United States and the Israeli occupation were held fully responsible for all the crimes.

'Israel' targets children playing in al-Shati

Gaza genocide most dangerous
    US-Israeli expulsion plot
The Gaza government media office underlines that the Israeli occupation is carrying out a campaign of ethnic cleansing to displace the people of the blockaded strip

The Government Media Office in Gaza released a special report on Monday detailing the unprecedented brutality being perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, now entering its 374th day since the escalation began on October 7, 2023
The report stressed that "the Israeli army is spreading lies and attempting to mislead the public about delivering trucks of flour to the northern Gaza governorate, while maintaining a complete and continuous siege for 170 days on Gaza and northern governorates, blocking all humanitarian access points."

The office also highlighted that "the occupation continues to commit genocide and mass extermination, killing more than 342 people and wounding hundreds of civilians, including children and women, in an ongoing massacre that has lasted for 10 straight days without pause."

The report pointed out that the situation in northern Gaza constitutes "actual and deliberate genocide and ethnic cleansing," with total destruction of homes, residential neighborhoods, streets, infrastructure, hospitals, schools, mosques, and vital sectors.

Most dangerous US-Israeli plan

The Gaza Government Media Office emphasized that these events are part of "the most dangerous American-Israeli occupation and displacement plan," describing it as "the largest and most dangerous scheme of the 21st century."

The report renewed its plea to the international community, calling on all free nations and international organizations to "apply all forms of pressure on the criminal Israeli occupation by all available means and methods" to "stop the genocide, the war of extermination, and the ethnic cleansing in Gaza, particularly in the northern Gaza governorate."

Additionally, the report condemned the Israeli occupation forces' "systematic killings and starvation of civilians and displaced persons in northern Gaza," while also criticizing the occupation's attempts to "collapse the healthcare system and turn the north into a zone of total ruin and destruction."

The Gaza Government Media Office urged the global community and all nations to "condemn these ongoing crimes" and held the Israeli occupation, the US administration, and all participating countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for the continued atrocities over the past year.

These countries are "criminals responsible for failing to halt the brutal war against our defenseless Palestinian people."

In conclusion, the report warned the international community and all international organizations that the Israeli occupation forces are engaging in "clear-cut acts of eradication, a war to eliminate civilians, and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people." The office called on all parties to "take immediate and practical actions to stop these crimes against humanity."

1 year of genocide

Marking the one year of the Israeli onslaught, Ismail Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office, delivered a heartfelt statement detailing the scale of devastation. He reported that the occupiers have killed more than 16,000 Palestinian children, including 171 infants, while 11,400 women have been martyred.

Thawabta's statement underscored the complete 902 Palestinian families who have been completely wiped out, their names erased from civil records in a horrific act of collective punishment. He further noted that in a year, the Israeli occupation carried out over 3,600 massacres and systematically flattened entire residential neighborhoods.

These crimes have been enabled through US-supplied weapons and military support, further highlighting the complicity of international actors in the ongoing destruction of Gaza, according to Thawabta
Meanwhile, over two million people remain displaced, facing dire conditions of inadequate healthcare and nutrition. Malnutrition rates are skyrocketing, depriving children of essential needs such as formula milk, vital supplements, and vaccinations.

He emphasized that the Israeli bombardment continues unabated, with 187 shelters targeted, resulting in the deaths of over 1,060 individuals seeking refuge. Additionally, medical facilities lie in ruins, medical personnel are increasingly being killed, and critical healthcare services are collapsing under this relentless assault.

The Israeli occupation has also cut off Gaza from the rest of the world, denying 25,000 patients and injured people access to vital medical treatment outside Gaza. Meanwhile, the occupation forces have targeted and killed 175 journalists, attempting to silence any voices that speak against their genocidal campaign.

Israel besieges Jabalia amid killings

Jabalia is seeing a new wave of forced displacement and killings by Israeli occupation forces following continued massacres

Israeli invading forces intensified their siege of Jabalia in northern Gaza on Tuesday, resulting in the killing of at least seven individuals and forcing a new wave of displacement. For approximately 11 days, Jabalia has been the target of a brutal Israeli offensive, with invading troops now surrounding the camp and deploying tanks to the nearby towns of Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun.

Jabalia is one of the eight historic refugee camps located in the Gaza Strip.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that seven Palestinians, including children, were killed and subsequently brought to Kamal Adwan Medical Hospital. This massacre occurred after they were besieged and shelled by the invading army in the Falouja area, located west of the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza.

The Civil Defense announced that many victims remained trapped under the rubble and that rescuers were unable to reach them. They also reported that "the teams are trapped with civilians in northern Gaza," stressing that "the occupation army continues to target them with drones, obstructing their access to the injured."
In the southwest of Gaza City, the Civil Defense retrieved the remains of two martyrs, one of whom was torn to pieces, and search efforts continue for 12 individuals still missing under the rubble in the industrial area of Tel al-Hawa.

Three killed, six injured in strike on house

"Israel" also targeted a residential block near a mosque in Tel al-Hawa, resulting in multiple casualties and injuries, as well as additional individuals reported missing under the rubble.

Our correspondent reported that three people were killed and six others injured in the bombing of a house near Salah al-Din Mosque in al-Zeitoun neighborhood of southeastern Gaza City.

In central Gaza, the Israeli occupation launched an airstrike on Nuseirat Camp, used artillery shelling, and opened fire from its vehicles in the northwestern part of the camp.

In the southern Gaza Strip, heavy artillery bombardment targeted the center and east of Rafah city.

Additionally, Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the al-Fukhari neighborhood east of Khan Younis, resulting in the killing of five Palestinians and injuries to others. A separate airstrike bombed a house in Bani Suheila, also east of Khan Younis, leading to the killing of nine individuals and injuries to several more.

In a related context, the United Nations' human rights office said, in a statement, the Israeli military appeared to be "cutting off North Gaza completely from the rest of the Gaza Strip".

"The separation of North Gaza raises further concerns that Israel does not intend to allow civilians to return to their homes, and the repeated calls for all Palestinians to leave northern Gaza raise grave concerns of large-scale forced transfer of the civilian population," it added.

Israel employs a surrender or starve

The Washington Post report on Monday detailed the worsening humanitarian crisis in northern Gaza, as the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) intensify their aggression on the Strip.

The report sheds light on the emerging strategy reportedly being employed by Israel, described as a "surrender or starve" approach, which has drawn international condemnation.

The IOF have encircled the Jabalia refugee camp and issued "evacuation orders" to approximately 400,000 residents in northern Gaza, directing them south to already overcrowded and bombarded areas
The report notes that humanitarian workers on the ground describe the situation as catastrophic, with airstrikes continuing to batter civilian areas, including refugee camps.

"It is like hell, to be honest," Fares Afana, head of ambulance services in northern Gaza, told The Washington Post.

The report also touches on the controversial plan initially proposed by retired Maj. Gen. Giora Eiland, which suggests evacuating northern Gaza and treating anyone who remains as a legitimate military target
While the Israeli occupation government has not officially confirmed adopting the strategy, reports indicate that parts of it are being implemented.

Humanitarian groups have raised concerns over the tactic, with Doctors Without Borders warning that thousands of people are trapped in the Jabalia camp, facing starvation and being targeted by IOF

In light of rising escalations with the Lebanese Resistance, and following retaliatory strikes by Iran on Israeli targets, the report warns of the broader regional implications of the ongoing war.

With the prospect of a ceasefire diminishing, he argues that the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, and calls for urgent international intervention to protect civilians remain largely unanswered.

According to the latest estimates from the Gaza Health Ministry on Monday, the death toll has now risen to 42,289 since October 7, 2023, in addition to 98,684 injuries.

The death toll is believed to be significantly higher, as thousands of bodies remain buried under the rubble from widespread destruction across the enclave.

BYE BYE EVIL ISRAEL
never understood why US has supported the slaughter of Palestinians and theft of their lands for so many years

Resistance pact signs Israel’s death warrant

All the pact’s signatories will provide “comprehensive” economic, military, and political assistance to one another, should they come under attack from the Zionist entity or its allies

On October 7, it was announced that Iran’s parliament is drafting a defense and security pact, which will formally bind the Resistance, “and their supporting countries,” together in a common, collaborative military structure to counter external threats, “particularly from the US and Israel.”

Unremarked upon in the West, this is a seismic move, representing the most monumental nail hammered into Israel’s coffin since Palestinian freedom fighters struck deep inside the Zionist entity’s putrid heart a year prior. The proclamation’s timing was absolutely no coincidence.

All the pact’s signatories - be they governments or Resistance movements - will provide “comprehensive” economic, military, and political assistance to one another, should they come under attack from the Zionist entity or its allies.

Significantly, a dedicated joint military headquarters, to “facilitate coordination” between members of the Resistance, will also be established. This will serve as a “central command for managing military operations and crisis response, reinforcing operational capabilities through planned joint military exercises.”

The pact “aims not only to enhance military cooperation,” but also “bolster infrastructure development” for the Resistance - “collaboration in building military bases and training centers is expected to improve readiness against potential threats.”

If implemented, Islamic Republic lawmakers believe “this alliance could significantly shift the balance of power in the region, presenting a formidable counterweight to Western influence seeking to wreak havoc in West Asia to Israel’s benefit.”

Of course, recent events have made it clear that West Asia’s “balance of power” has already decisively shifted in favor of the Resistance. The scale and severity of Iran’s unprecedented October 1 strike on the Zionist entity amply indicated Tehran not only didn’t expect retaliation of any serious kind to be forthcoming from "Israel" or its Western puppetmasters but had calculated that in the event Tel Aviv was sufficiently foolhardy to declare all-out war in response, the Resistance would inevitably prevail.

In the wake of that devastating assault, this journalist postulated Tehran had thrown down a gauntlet to its regional and international adversaries, safe in the knowledge any resultant conflict would mean the Zionist entity’s final end and the Empire’s concomitant retreat from West Asia more widely.

The rapid emergence of a formal Resistance military alliance tends to confirm this analysis. Now, it is up to "Israel" to make the next move, which could well be its very last.

‘Military Response’

Hours before Iran struck the Zionist entity, Israeli occupation forces criminally launched an expanded aggression on Lebanon. True to form, the IOF have savagely targeted civilian areas and infrastructure ever since, claiming at least 1,400 innocent lives to date and injuring countless more.

Initially framed by Israeli leaders and pliant Western journalists as a “limited ground intervention," based on “precise intelligence” on Hezbollah, the government of Benjamin Netanyahu is already openly seeking to escalate it into an all-out war.

Netanyahu is evidently unconcerned that many statements he and his ministers have made since October 7, 2023, rank highly among the voluminous mountain of evidence the Zionist entity is acting with genocidal intent toward the Palestinians and may have contributed significantly to his ICC indictment for “crimes against humanity."

On October 9, the Israeli leader unreservedly threatened Lebanon’s population with “destruction and suffering like we see in Gaza" if they failed to rise and help the IOF “free” their country from Hezbollah.

Such belligerence and depravity play well with Zionist entity audiences. One Israeli newscaster proudly toasted the September 27 assassination of Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah live on air, while Tel Aviv’s education ministry actively encouraged schools to stage celebrations. Netanyahu’s approval ratings have soared since the IOF attempted to invade Lebanon.

A sense that the settler colony had finally redeemed itself and regained an upper hand against the Resistance, after being dealt relentless economic and military blows since October 7, widely pervades locally.

Yet, as The Guardian acknowledged on October 6, the IOF’s attempted invasion of Lebanon has already proven deeply ruinous. They have lost scores of soldiers, while Hezbollah “retains a potency fighting on its own terrain… where it has had almost two decades to prepare for this conflict.” Elsewhere, the outlet observed that Iran’s October 1st strike on Tel Aviv was:

“Not…as inconsequential as initially claimed by Israel’s leadership, and instead [shows] that a large-scale strike could not only overwhelm Israel’s anti-missile defences but that Tehran could accurately explode warheads on the targets it was aiming for, in this case several military bases. All of which raises serious questions as Israel prepares for a ‘significant’ military response to Iran.”

The Guardian went on to record that due to Israel’s “fast metastasising multi-front war” against the Resistance, the Zionist entity’s “military and intelligence superiority is faltering on several fronts.”

The past year has also “seriously exposed Israel’s newly minted operational doctrine, which planned for fighting short decisive wars against non-state actors…with the aim of avoiding being drawn into extended conflicts of attrition.” Instead, “the opposite has happened.” And the ranks of Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Resistance groups have swelled every step of the way.

‘Deterrent Effect’

The secret of the Resistance's success was spelled out in a little-noticed article published in June by the elite imperial journal Foreign Affairs. Unequivocally titled "Hamas Is Winning," it sets out in forensic detail “why Israel’s failing strategy makes its enemy stronger,” and how “according to the measures that matter.

Hamas is stronger today than it was” on October 7, 2023. The “growing” group has since “evolved into a tenacious and deadly guerrilla force in Gaza”, launching “lethal operations” in areas previously "cleared” by the IOF “easily”.

Foreign Affairs attributes such “overarching failure” to “a gross misunderstanding of the sources of Hamas’ power.” The Zionist entity has, to its “great detriment”, failed to comprehend that “the carnage and devastation it has unleashed in Gaza has only made its enemy stronger.”

Hamas’ “key source” of support is its “potential to gain supporters from the local community” and “ability to recruit, especially its ability to attract new generations of the fighters and operatives.”

This support means Hamas can “replenish its ranks, gain resources, avoid detection, and generally have more access to the human and material resources necessary” to wage war against the Zionist entity.

Average Palestinians, “often either angry over the loss of family members or friends or more generally enraged at [Israel’s] use of heavy military force,” have joined Hamas in droves or provided assistance of some kind to the group due to its “tremendous support” among the residents of Gaza.

Cited surveys of Palestinian opinion reinforce this conclusion. Five polls conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research over the 12 months from June 2023 “present a striking finding” - “on virtually every measure.

Hamas has more support among Palestinians today than before October 7th.” In all, “twice as many” Palestinians favor Hamas over its primary rival Fatah - 40% compared to 20%. And 73% of Palestinians overall believe Hamas “was right to launch” that historic attack.

There has also “especially" been a rise in support for armed resistance against the Zionist entity among Palestinians in the West Bank. There, surveys find backing for the group is now “on par with the consistently high levels of support” for Hamas strikes on "Israel" in Gaza.

60% of Palestinians in Gaza report having a family member killed in the current war, while over three-quarters report having a family member killed or injured, both numbers significantly higher than in December 2023
Accordingly, Foreign Affairs records that Hamas has swelled in size to “roughly ten times the number of fighters” who carried out the October 7 operation.

Meanwhile, “more than 80% of the group’s underground tunnel network remains usable for planning, storing weapons, and evading Israeli surveillance, capture, and attacks,” and “most” of its “top leadership in Gaza remains intact.” The IOF’s “punishment” of Palestinians “is not having a significant deterrent effect” on residents of Gaza or the West Bank, or “[reducing] their support for Hamas.”

Foreign Affairs concedes this phenomenon is not restricted to Hamas, but all components of the indefatigable Resistance. Support for Hezbollah “flourished” among Shiites during the Zionist entity’s savage 1982 - 1999 occupation of South Lebanon, the outlet notes.

This resulted in the group “evolving from a small clandestine” armed faction “into a mainstream political party” in Beirut, with a dedicated military wing comprising at least 40,000 fighters today. Foreign Affairs closed out its damning appraisal of "Israel’s" war against Hamas with a stark conclusion:

“The war will go on and on, more Palestinians will die, and the threat to Israel will only grow.”

The horrors of the Zionist entity’s invasion of Lebanon will likely endure apace for some time. But so too its total economic, military, and political collapse. Meanwhile, every day the Resistance is galvanized, pullulating in strength, its mere existence winning hearts and minds within and without West Asia in ever-greater numbers.

The new, dedicated pact binding anti-Zionist governments and Palestine freedom fighter movements together finally signs "Israel’s" death warrant for it was already written.

Ethnic cleansing plan underway
    Israeli soldiers reveal
Israeli soldiers have unveiled a plan to ethnically cleanse Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, a situation that the world is observing through the systematic methods of starvation practiced

Israeli media reports indicate that a plan is in progress to ethnically cleanse northern Gaza and eliminate any Palestinians who remain there.

Israeli reserve soldiers stationed in Gaza informed Haaretz this week that they believe the "Generals' Plan" also known as the "Eiland Plan" is being put into action.

“The goal is to give the residents who live north of the Netzarim area a deadline to move to the south of the Strip. After this date, whoever will remain in the north will be considered an enemy and will be killed,” a soldier stationed in the Netzarim Corridor was quoted as saying.

The soldier stated that the plan does not adhere to any standards of international law.

“People sat and wrote a systematic order with charts and an operational concept, at the end of which you shoot whoever isn’t willing to leave. The very existence of this idea is unfathomable.”

A second soldier remarked, "The commanders openly state that the Eiland Plan is being advanced by the military."

On Wednesday, the report stated that there are indications that, although the policy may not yet have been formally adopted by senior military officials who are reportedly discussing it, the plan is already underway.

Haaretz journalist Amos Harel wrote, "Ideas such as intentionally firing near a population and even measures aimed at starving the inhabitants are currently being discussed."

Major international aid organizations have urged leaders and the global community to put an end to Israel's forced displacement in northern Gaza.

“The Israeli forces’ assault on Gaza has escalated to a horrifying level of atrocity,” said organizations such as Oxfam, Medical Aid for Palestinians, ActionAid, Islamic Relief, Christian Aid, and other UK-based charities on Tuesday.

“This is not an evacuation; this is forced displacement under gunfire. Since October 1, no food has been allowed into the area, and civilians are being starved and bombed in their homes and their tents.”

In the last ten days, Israeli forces have instructed hundreds of thousands of people to leave northern Gaza in preparation for a new offensive.

Israel still attacking UN aid
    personnel in Gaza
Israeli forces have opened fire on UN aid convoys heading to northern Gaza at least four times over the past three months, endangering aid personnel and forcing agencies to be more limited and cautious in how they operate, limiting the amount and scope of aid they can offer, The Washington Post reported, citing UN and humanitarian officials

These attacks damaged vehicles and narrowly missed injuring staff members inside. On September 9, Israeli soldiers held a UN convoy at gunpoint for seven and a half hours, accusing several individuals in the vehicles of being "wanted men", the report revealed. The individuals were questioned before eventually being allowed to continue their journey.

"They basically surrounded our vehicles, pointing assault rifles at our cars, and they were shouting that we're terrorists," a UN staff member recounted.

"Our colleagues risk their lives to save others and too often come under fire. Throughout this conflict, we have demanded respect for international humanitarian and human rights law. There must be accountability," said Jonathan Whittall, acting head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Palestinian territories.

"In no other context would we accept to operate in such conditions, but in Gaza, people cannot leave the war zone and seek assistance elsewhere."

After a year of Israeli aggression on Gaza, the war-torn Strip has become one of the most dangerous places in the world for humanitarian workers.

280 staffers killed

According to the United Nations, more than 280 aid staffers have been killed in Israeli attacks on depots, convoys, and residential homes. Some of these casualties have resulted from US weapons, according to aid groups. Yet, the United States is showing no signs of slowing down aid to "Israel".

The report also indicated that 2024 could potentially be even more deadly, with the Aid Worker Security Database showing that 172 aid workers had been killed by August 7. The increase in fatalities—primarily from Israeli airstrikes in Gaza between October and December of the previous year—marks a 137 rise compared to 2022, which saw 118 aid worker deaths.

Philippe Lazzarini, head of UNRWA, stated on X that the ongoing Gaza war has led to a devastating loss over the past 10 months, with at least 289 aid workers killed, including 207 from UNRWA, as well as 885 health professionals
Despite ongoing calls for protection, aid organizations report that the flow of essential supplies remains obstructed, and staff safety remains precarious. Last month, six UNRWA team members were killed in an Israeli airstrike while assisting displaced civilians in a shelter.

Israeli forces disconnected

The Washington Post's report highlighted that Israeli checkpoints in northern Gaza are among the most hazardous locations for aid convoys. International aid organizations and others under the United Nations must submit their staff lists to the Israeli Security Ministry's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) for approval before receiving clearance to proceed.

Some workers reported that even after receiving the green light, convoys often encounter delays at checkpoints, where identities are re-verified. Humanitarian workers say that Israeli soldiers at the checkpoints are frequently unaware of approvals, leading to confusion and extended hold-ups.

At times, aid workers have to explain to the Israeli soldiers, who seem to be unaware of the situation on the ground, that they had received the official green light to move, as they have to for nearly every step of the way. "You say you’ve got it, but then they say: 'No one told me, so you can't pass,' " said one aid worker with an international group.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has accused "Israel" of blocking two humanitarian missions attempting to enter northern Gaza, where the besieged region is suffering from relentless attacks and a crumbling health system.

The missions, which aimed to evacuate critical patients and deliver essential fuel, blood units, and medical supplies, were forced to turn back due to Israeli checkpoints and other barriers, the WHO said on Thursday. A total of seven such missions have been denied or obstructed this week.

On July 21, Israeli forces opened fire on a convoy waiting at Wadi Gaza in central Gaza, damaging a vehicle from UNRWA and other UN agencies. Two days later, marked UNICEF vehicles were hit by bullets at the same location, prompting a temporary suspension of staff movements in Gaza.

Cindy McCain, executive director of the World Food Programme (WFP), asked if she believed her team was safe after resuming missions in the area, said, "Not really. There have been a lot of close calls."

Day 377: 42,438 killed, 99,246 injured

The Israeli occupation continues its ongoing genocide for the 377th day, killing and starving Palestinians in the Strip

The Israeli occupation committed two massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 29 martyrs and 93 injuries that arrived at hospitals in the last 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry confirmed in its daily report on the 377th day of the Israeli war.

The total number of Palestinians killed since October 7 of last year has now risen to 42,438 martyrs, with 99,246 injured, according to the report.

The ministry noted that several victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, unreachable by ambulances and Civil Defense teams
Earlier today, the Israeli occupation forces murdered five Palestinians and injured others after targeting their home in southwestern Gaza City, in northern Gaza.

The vicinity of al-Mina in westernmost Gaza City and Palestinian homes in west Jabalia also came under intense Israeli artillery shelling.

Meanwhile, as Israel continues targeting displaced civilians seeking shelter and safety, Khalifa School, located near Sheikh Zayed in northern Gaza, was bombarded with internationally banned and illegal white phosphorus bombs, which caused raging fires.

The Israeli occupation has committed two massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 29 martyrs and 93 injuries reported to hospitals in the past 24 hours.

Just a few days ago, Israeli airstrike burned alive Palestinians sheltering in makeshift tents on the grounds of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah. The crime garnered an abundance of backlash, with the United Nations condemning the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, urging the international community to take immediate action
Speaking at the UN Security Council session called by Algeria, Joyce Msuya, the UN's acting under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs and emergency relief coordinator said, "There is no way to get them the urgent care they need to survive and manage such injuries. If such horror does not awaken our sense of humanity and propel us to action, what will?"

She further stressed that Israel must be held accountable, not by words, but by "urgent, unequivocal action," adding that the humanitarian situation is only getting worse, incomprehensible, and indescribable by the day amid the relentless Israeli bombardment.

Israel bombs school in North Gaza
    killing dozens, wounding 160
Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas strongly condemned the latest Israeli attack, calling it a "repeated crime" in the criminal plans of Zionism to forcibly displace Palestinians

The Israeli occupation has carried out another deadly assault on a school housing displaced Palestinians in northern Gaza as they gathered for lunch.

In the Jabalia refugee camp, the IOF bombed the Abu Hussein school murdering at least 28 and injuring another 160 according to Gaza's government media office.

The strike caused fires to break out in tents placed in the yard. According to a medical source, some of the injured are in severe condition.

Several martyrs were transported to Kamal Adwan and Al-Awda hospitals, according to two medical sources.

Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas strongly condemned the latest Israeli attack, calling it a "repeated crime" in the criminal plans of Zionism to forcibly displace Palestinians.

According to Hamas, northern Gaza has been "exposed to the Holocaust, genocide, and systematic displacement of Palestinians in front of the eyes of the world," questioning international organizations' silence in response to Israeli crimes and massacres.

Tragedies continue to unfold across the Strip as the siege continues for the 13th consecutive day, during which residents are deprived of access to basic needs for survival.

Oxfam and 37 other humanitarian groups issued a joint statement on Wednesday, saying the Israeli bombardment had reached a "horrifying level of atrocity" and that the northern part of the Strip is "being wiped off of the map."

"Under the guise of 'evacuation', Israeli forces have ordered the forced displacement of an estimated 400,000 Palestinians trapped in northern Gaza, including Gaza City," according to the NGOs.
Ethnic cleansing plan underway in North Gaza, Israeli soldiers reveal

Israeli media reports indicate that a plan is in progress to ethnically cleanse northern Gaza and eliminate any Palestinians who remain there.

Israeli reserve soldiers stationed in Gaza informed Haaretz this week that they believe the "Generals' Plan", also known as the "Eiland Plan" is being put into action.

Israel using 'war-like' tactics on Palestinians

Since the start of the month, approximately 600 olive trees have been burned, vandalized, or stolen by settlers

The United Nations Humanitarian Office (OCHA) accused "Israel" on Friday of using "war-like" tactics against Palestinians in the West Bank, citing killings by Israeli soldiers and attacks on Palestinian olive groves by settlers.

OCHA reported 32 attacks by settlers this month, including the killing of a woman in Jenin. These attacks are impacting the livelihoods of Palestinians, particularly due to the destruction of their olive trees, a key source of income.

"It is, frankly, very concerning that it's not only attacks on people, but it's attacks on their olive groves as well," OCHA spokesperson Jens Laerke said at a Geneva press briefing. "The olive harvest is an economic lifeline for tens of thousands of Palestinian families in the West Bank," he added, adding that UN agencies were looking to see how they could assist them
The agency reported that since the start of the month, approximately 600 olive trees have been burned, vandalized, or stolen by settlers. A report included an image of a Palestinian man standing beside an olive tree stump with its branches cut off.

Settler violence out of hand

Violence in the West Bank has intensified since the start of the war on Gaza. Several countries, including the US, have imposed sanctions on extremist groups as a result of the violence.

According to OCHA, within the span of a mere six days, between October 8-14, Israeli forces killed nine Palestinians in the West Bank, including one child.

"Israeli forces have been using lethal, war-like tactics in the West Bank, raising serious concerns over excessive use of force and deepening people's humanitarian needs," Laerke said.

He noted that Israeli forces claimed most of those killed were involved in attacks against Israelis, a pretext commonly used to justify excessive use of force and conceal the true nature of the killings.

Earlier this month, the World Food Programme reported that violence and the spillover from the Gaza war had nearly doubled the number of people experiencing food insecurity in the West Bank, raising the total to 600,000 individuals.

The martyrdom of Hanan

The latest martyrdom of a Palestinian farmer occurred on Thursday, with the murder of a 59-year-old Palestinian woman, Hanan Abdel Rahman Abu Salama, who was shot and killed by Israeli forces while attending to her family’s olive grove in the village of Faqoua, near Jenin
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed her martyrdom, stating she was killed by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire.

According to her son, Faris Abu Salama, the family had permission from Israeli forces to harvest their olives but were shot at by soldiers stationed on a nearby separation wall.

"We were much further than the minimum distance from the wall, but they started shooting randomly," Faris said.

Despite attempts by medical teams to save her, Abu Salama succumbed to her injuries.

To end the fighting:

a) The US has to stop supporting the slaughter of Palestinians

b) Illegal settlers on Palestinian land must be removed

Israel requests second THAAD battery

The Pentagon confirmed on Sunday that it will send an advanced air defense battery to Israel, along with US soldiers to operate it

Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 on Friday reported that Israel has requested the US to deploy a second THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) battery to bolster its defenses against a potential Iranian retaliation to its planned upcoming attack.

Tehran is reportedly preparing for a potential Israeli attack after reports surfaced suggesting that Israeli leadership has agreed on launching a strike. The deployment of the THAAD system is aimed at preparing for an anticipated Iranian reaction to the expected Israeli attack.

In response, the Pentagon confirmed on Sunday that it would send an advanced air defense battery to Israel, along with US soldiers to operate the system.

It also comes against the paradoxical US warnings urging Israel to avoid targeting critical Iranian infrastructure, including nuclear and oil facilities, amid concerns that such an escalation could destabilize the region further.

A first shipment of THAAD batteries, along with the necessary components to operate the system and a team of US military personnel, was already dispatched on October 15.

If this request is approved, it will mark the second delivery.

The THAAD system, designed to complement the existing Patriot system, offers protection over a wider area with a range of 150-200 kilometers (93-124 miles), making it capable of intercepting ballistic missile threats.

Each battery is composed of six truck-mounted launchers, 48 interceptors, and advanced radar and radio equipment, and requires 95 soldiers to operate.

On Thursday, Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said that any attack on Iran would result in severe retaliation on the same target within occupied Palestinian territory.

Addressing the Israeli occupation, Salami warned, "You know how weak you are and how prone you are to incurring heavy losses." He also cautioned "Israel" against relying on its defense systems, saying, "Do not depend on your defense systems, as we can breach them."

Extermination & genocide in Jabalia
    Israel retains West's backing
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip released a statement revealing that the Israeli occupation's actions in Jabalia amount to extermination as the death toll is expected to reach 50 martyrs amid IOF bombardment of residential buildings and warnings to local hospitals

The Israeli occupation forces continued its campaign of extermination and genocide in the Jabalia Camp, located in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in a massacre that killed 33 people, including 21 women. According to the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip, the death toll is expected to rise as many Palestinians remain trapped under the rubble of residential buildings that were bombed by the occupation forces.

The massacre has also left over 85 people injured, with several in critical condition amid an ongoing seige of the sector, systematic destruction of hospitals, and the murder of doctors and nurses since the start of the genocide on October 7.

The Government Media Office stated on Friday, in a press release, that it condemned the Israeli occupation's brutal actions.

"The Israeli occupation army continues its clear campaign of extermination and genocide in Jabalia Camp," the statement read, underscoring that the attack targeted several homes belonging to the Hawajri, Nassar, and Abu Al-Eish families.

Pointing fingers at several EU countries, the US, and Israel the statement added that this horrific act was carried out "with full backing from the US administration and certain European countries like the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, who are involved in this genocide and ethnic cleansing."
The attack comes amid the ongoing collapse of the healthcare system in northern Gaza, an area that is home to around 400,000 residents. The occupation forces have issued threats against hospitals in the area, demanding their evacuation in a bid to maximize the death toll the Media Office reported stressing the systematic and deliberate destruction of the healthcare system.

Furthermore, the statement stressed that the Israeli occupation is preventing fuel from reaching hospitals and has severed communications and internet access in the region, worsening the humanitarian crisis.

The statement from the Government Media Office also condemned the international community's inaction, criticizing the "moral collapse of the world" for watching silently as genocide is committed against the Palestinian people.

"We strongly condemn the Israeli occupation’s new massacre and the continued campaign of genocide and ethnic cleansing against civilians, children, and women," the statement emphasized, urging countries to speak out against the ongoing atrocities.

The responsibility for these crimes extends beyond "Israel", the statement argued, stating that "we hold the Israeli occupation, the US administration, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and all the countries involved in this genocide fully responsible for the continued crimes of genocide, particularly the ethnic cleansing and extermination in Jabalia Camp."

The statement concluded with a call to the international community and global organizations to act swiftly and decisively. "We call on the international community and all global organizations to pressure the occupation to stop the genocide in Jabalia Camp, to end the ethnic cleansing against our Palestinian people, and to put an end to the bloodshed in Gaza."

In turn, Al Mayadeen's correspondent affirmed, once again, that the Israeli occupation continues to systematically target schools and gatherings of displaced people in the northern Gaza Strip.
Israel halts all commercial food imports to Gaza: Reuters

Reuters reported earlier on Thursday that "Israel" has ceased processing requests from Gaza-based traders to import food, further choking off supplies to the besieged Palestinian Strip.

According to sources involved in the trade, this abrupt halt, which began on October 11, has driven food deliveries into Gaza to their lowest level since the start of the ongoing war.

For the past six months, this track had accounted for more than half of Gaza's provisions, with traders importing goods from the occupied territories and the West Bank.

Now, with no response from the Israeli body overseeing shipments, known as COGAT, the flow of goods has come to a near standstill.

Data analyzed by Reuters shows that the daily average of truck deliveries, which previously stood at 175 between May and September, has dropped to just 29 trucks, including both aid and commercial goods.

Hospital in North Gaza shut down
    under IOF siege, bombing
The director of the Indonesian Hospital has reported that the facility is no longer operational, with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) surrounding it and all people trapped inside

Israeli occupation forces besieged the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, early Saturday morning, targeting anyone moving in its vicinity.

Marwan Sultan, the director of the Indonesian Hospital, confirmed that the facility is currently non-operational and that all individuals within its premises are surrounded by Israeli occupation forces (IOF).

The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that the Israeli artillery bombed the upper floors of the hospital, which houses over 40 patients, along with medical staff. The Ministry confirmed a complete power outage at the facility
It also mentioned that a group of forcibly displaced people was targeted in front of the hospital's entrance, with heavy gunfire directed at the building and its grounds, causing widespread fear among patients and medical personnel.

The occupation has intensified its targeting of the health system in the northern Gaza Strip by besieging and directly targeting the Indonesian Hospital, Kamal Adwan Hospital, and Al Awda Hospital, Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed, appealing to all international and UN institutions and concerned parties to urgently intervene to protect the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip

In a related context, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli tanks demolished part of the wall surrounding the Indonesian Hospital. Our correspondent noted that the hospital's generator had stopped working due to the ongoing Israeli assault.

BREAKING: Israeli occupation tanks have surrounded the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza, cutting its electricity and targeting it with artillery, particularly targeting the second and third floors
Additionally, artillery fire has repeatedly targeted the upper floors of Al-Awda Hospital in Tal al-Zaatar, with Kamal Adwan Hospital now being the only operational facility in northern Gaza.

The correspondent further reported that hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals are trapped in the Beit Lahia area, where occupation forces are tightening their grip. Furthermore, for the first time, Israeli aircraft have dropped dozens of explosive bags on civilians' homes in the al-Faluja area.

Simultaneously, the IOF continue their systematic targeting of shelters for forcibly displaced individuals and their gatherings in northern Gaza, as per our correspondent.

'You see us burning, you stay silent':

Family’s agony over mother and sons burned to death in Gaza tent

There is no conscience. There is no humanity. There are only leaders who watch and do not act.

This is what Ahmed al-Dalou believes, as the images of his family burning replay in his mind. He says his life is gone. It died in the inferno of al-Aqsa compound with his boys and wife in the early hours of Monday 14 October, after an Israeli strike
In front of him on the ground is a shroud, wrapped around the body of Abdulrahman,12, his youngest son.

The child lingered in agony for four days after the fire, sparked by an Israeli strike. The day before he died Ahmed saw him in hospital and he was able to tell his father: “Don’t be worried, I am OK dad… I’m fine. Don’t be afraid.”

Ahmed is half speaking, half crying, as he talks of what has been taken from him.

“Three times I tried to pull him [Abdulrahman] out of the fire, but his body fell back into it.”

His older brother, Sha'aban, 19, and his mother, Alaa, 37, both died on the night of the fire.

Sha'aban became a new symbol of Gaza’s terrible suffering. Images of him writhing in agony as he burned to death in the family’s tent were shared around the world on social media
There are burns all over Ahmed’s face and hands. The tone of his voice is high, a keening sound. Of the anonymous pilot who sent the missile, and the leaders who gave him orders, Ahmed said: “They broke my heart, and they broke my spirit… I wish the fire had burned me.”

The strike happened at about 01:15 local time last Monday (23:15 BST on Sunday).

The Israeli military said it was targeting a Hamas "command and control" centre in the al-Aqsa hospital compound in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.

Hamas denies operating in hospitals.

Ahmed al-Dalou survived the fire which burned through tents at the al-Aqsa complex - but suffered burns to his face and hands trying to rescue his family

Four people were killed immediately and dozens more wounded, including many with severe burn injuries. The Israel Defense Forces said it was “reviewing the incident”.

A spokesperson for the White House told CBS News, the BBC's US partner, that footage of the fire was “deeply disturbing” and called on Israel to do more to protect civilians.

“Israel has a responsibility to do more to avoid civilian casualties - and what happened here is horrifying - even if Hamas was operating near the hospital in an attempt to use civilians as human shields.”

The US and other powers, including Britain, have expressed concern about civilian casualties since the early stages of the war.

Palestinians tried to battle the fire which tore through tents being used by displaced people

People are burned to death, blown to pieces, and shot every day in this war.

Most of the time the death agonies happen away from the cameras. It is the frantic search for survivors in the rubble, the dramatic scenes at hospitals, the endless stream of funerals, that are captured by cameras.

But the death of Sha'aban al-Dalou was different. His hand can be seen, reaching out of the inferno, a figure wrapped in flame, writhing and beyond the reach of any help.

In the days following his death Sha'aban’s own videos and photographs emerged. He was a typical teenager of his generation, aware of the power of social media, adept at recording his daily life.

The burning figure from the night of fire appeared to the world as an articulate, intelligent teenager, a software engineering student, a young man who took care of his family planning for a new life outside Gaza. He filmed himself donating blood and encouraged others to do the same.

“We saw so many injuries, many children are in dire need of blood… All we demand is for a ceasefire and this tragedy to end.”

We are only able to tell the story of al-Dalou family because of our own local journalist who went to meet the survivors. International journalists from media organisations, including the BBC, are not given independent access to Gaza by Israel.

In a video recorded in the tent where he died Sha'aban described how his family had been displaced five times since the war began a year ago. He had two sisters, and two younger brothers.

“We live in very hard circumstances,” he said. “We suffer from various things such as homelessness, limited food, and extremely limited medicine.”

In the background, as he speaks, there is the loud mechanical hum of an Israeli observation drone, a constant in the daily and nightly soundtrack of Gaza.

The surviving brother of Sha'aban and Abdulrahman, Mohammed al-Dalou, told the BBC that he had tried to go into the flames to rescue his older brother.

But other injured people had held him back, fearing he too would be killed. Mohammed did not sleep in the family tent, but outside on the street where he kept watch over their piled belongings.

“I was screaming for someone to let me go, but in vain… My brother’s leg was trapped and he couldn’t free himself. I think you saw it in the video. He was raising his hand.

(Fortunately I have not seen the video, but the description is graphic enough)

"That was my brother. He was my support in this world.”

Sha'aban would come and wake him for prayers in the morning with a bottle of water and he would tell him: “I’ll work for you.”

Mohammed al-Dalou, aged about 17, is a smooth-faced young man in a t-shirt. He's pictured in front of wrecked buildings following the air strike on the al-Aqsa complex in the Gaza Strip.

Mohammed al-Dalou saw his loved ones die in the fire

Mohammed recalled how the brothers set up a stall at the gates of the hospital selling food that the family made.

“We managed everything with our hard work. Everything we had was from our effort. We would get food and drink… then everything was lost.”

He saw the burned bodies, but could only identify his mother. Although her remains had been mutilated by fire, he recognised a distinctive bracelet.

“Without it, I wouldn’t have known she was my mother. Her hand was detached from her body, but the bracelet was still on it. I took it off her hand.”

This is his only memento of the woman who was “the kindness in our home".

The al-Dalou family is in shock. The survivors mourn the dead. Our BBC colleague asked Mohammed about the psychological cost of seeing his loved ones die.

“I can’t describe it. I can’t describe how I felt. I want to explain it to people, but I can’t. I can’t describe it. I saw my brother burning in front of me, and my mother too.”

Then, as if he is posing a question on behalf of the dead, he asks: “What more do you need, and you stay silent? You see us burning, and you stay silent.”

UN expert calls Gaza genocide
    collective shame of century
According to Francesca Albanese, Israel's summary executions, forced displacements, and other egregious abuses are a "disgraceful testament to our global failure to protect basic human rights."

The UN's special rapporteur on the human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territories has condemned "Israel's" ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip as "the collective shame of the century," highlighting the international community's inability to defend Palestinian rights.

The Israeli occupation continues its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, particularly in the northern regions, which have witnessed Israeli massacres since the war began a year ago.

The occupation has renewed its brutal aggression in northern Gaza as part of a systematic plan to forcibly displace its residents and destroy all aspects of life and infrastructure, resulting in dozens of martyrs in recent days
Francesca Albanese made the statements in an X post on Sunday, after more than a year of Israeli bombardment that has destroyed Gaza, murdered tens of thousands of innocent people, and displaced nearly the entire population, often several times.

"In Gaza, the collective shame of the century continues unabated and unstopped, in defiance of every norm of international law and morale," she wrote.

Albanese expressed that "the Palestinians, exhausted by relentless attacks on their bodies and souls are abandoned to their tormentors."

The special rapporteur underscored the “summary executions, mass forced displacements, and other egregious abuses” the IOF are subjecting the Palestinians to, calling them a "disgraceful testament to our global failure to protect basic human rights.”

Albanese further emphasized that the UN, which was once considered a "beacon of hope and force for peace, are crumbling under the weight of this shame - and the pressure of the inaction or complicity of its most powerful member states."

The Special Rapporteur's comments come as Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces set fire to the Indonesian Hospital.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health condemned the direct targeting of the hospital, reiterating its call to all relevant UN and international institutions and bodies to protect healthcare facilities and workers from the atrocities and crimes of the occupation, particularly in the northern part of the besieged Gaza Strip, where genocide has been ongoing for 17 consecutive days.

Extermination ongoing Israeli massacre in Beit Lahia

On Saturday evening, the Israeli occupation committed a horrific massacre by bombing several houses near al-Qassam Mosque in the Beit Lahia area in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of 73 Palestinians, according to a preliminary toll announced by the Government Media Office in Gaza.

In addition to the high death toll of the massacre, dozens of people have been injured or remain missing, most of them women and children, as stated by the media office. This new massacre coincides with the Israeli occupation’s deliberate destruction of the healthcare system in the northern region of the sector, an area that remains home to around 400,000 residents.

The Government Media Office further reported that the Israeli occupation forces had threatened hospitals in the province, demanding that medical staff evacuate immediately. Furthermore, the occupation has blocked fuel deliveries to these hospitals and cut off communication and internet access in the area, worsening the humanitarian crisis.

Additionally, the media office held the occupation, along with the US administration, the UK, Germany, France, and other countries complicit in the ongoing genocide, fully responsible for the continuation of this crime—specifically, the ethnic cleansing and extermination in Jabalia Camp and the Beit Lahia project, as well as the continued massacres of civilians in northern Gaza.

This massacre is part of "Israel’s" ongoing crimes in Gaza, which include imposing siege, starvation, and total isolation on the northern province amid heavy aerial and artillery bombardments.

As the Israeli occupation’s siege on the north continues for the 15th consecutive day, Gaza’s Civil Defense spokesperson, Mahmoud Basal, stated that Jabalia Camp is facing extremely dire conditions due to the occupation's prevention of humanitarian aid.

He noted that over 400 people, including children, women, and the elderly, have been killed, while it is becoming increasingly difficult for the Civil Defense to reach the bombing sites.
