Nuclear power is Iran's right: president

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad insists that nuclear power is Iran's right and "no one will stop us" developing the country.

In an interview with Britain's Guardian newspaper, he said a United Nations resolution insisting on the suspension of its nuclear activities was US-inspired and would fail.

"They are trying to deny our right to develop nuclear power. But no one can impose anything on the Iranian people. They will not succeed," he said while on a campaign tour of the north of his country.

"Our main task is to develop and build the Iranian nation. No one will stop us."

Iran has insisted it is enriching uranium to generate electricity from nuclear power. The United States, Britain, France and Germany among others fear it is a cloak to disguise a program to build nuclear weapons.

The UN Security Council passed a resolution at the end of July calling on Iran to suspend uranium enrichment by August 31.

Iran has set itself an August 22 deadline to respond to an offer of economic incentives designed to persuade it to comply with the suspension demand.

are we objective? So yes, They have this right, like israel, USA, pakistan or other states.

Subjective? No, Iran is rival of Turkey at middle east and central asia, and the caucasus.

The problem with Iran is that it states clearly its intention to destroy another official country, Israël, and some such aggression is quite forbidden by NU :lol:

Then as it put itself out of the international rules, it could be considered as a regional danger. But out of realistic considerations, there is no real justification when Nuclear power countries forbid to other the same weapons... Just the common sense : currently, Ahmadinejjad is an unstable guy.

Not worse than israel or USA. Ahmadinejjad is not an islamic maniac, who built iran politic over muslim brothership. Infact Iran suppored and still support Christian Armenia against shia azeris. This is real-politic and have no relation with regime of iran.

iran has good ties with Azeris of Azerbaican , they are oftenly appear in Iran TV , Iran has made many factories in Azerbaican republic.
for example Azer Samand , the iranian car factory . (so much better ties than with Southern Kudistan)

Iran is trying to manipulate all the republics of former-Sovet , and keep them under control .

and you say iran has the right to have a bomb, excuse me , which Right you are reffering to ? iran is a member of IAEA and has signed it , and doesnt have the right to have a bomb .
may be you are reffering to Dr.Kemal's books...

iran has good ties with Azeris of Azerbaican , they are oftenly appear in Iran TV , Iran has made many factories in Azerbaican republic.
for example Azer Samand , the iranian car factory . (so much better ties than with Southern Kudistan)

I am not talking about kurdistan but armenia, at karabag war, Iran supported armenians, not azeris. Even now, Iran is only exit of armenians.

we are talking about Rights, Rights are diffrent by each person's view...a Turk would say "it is our right to assimulate all Kurds"
a Kurd would say "it is not turks right to assimulate us"
so it is hard to talk about rights by Your and Our Feelings.
rights are those who are Signed by both sides.

Israel have nuclear weapon, so why not iran?

I dont think so, If rights are different by each person, A murderer act(even saddam acts) can be considered as right.

Asimilation others are wrong. If a turk say It is right, so This turk is also wrong.

Armenia is blockaded by Turks and azeris. georgians have also problems with armenians.Infact they are taking ahıska turks back to armenian majority lands.(Ahısta turks were exiled their land by russians)

So iran is only peaciful nation armenians have.

because i can't sleep well knowing a bunch of mullahs in Tehran think that their duty in life is to destroy infidels, with their finger on the big red button.
once the mullahs of !ran get their hands on nuclear weapons, you can kiss democracy in Iran goodbye for god knows when!! countries like Iran with the ugly monkey face of ahmadi-nejad are extremly unstable, you dont know who can come into power next.
i think that !ran is far more likely to use nuclear power than say Israel is.
