You already got Iraqi pride Roller... ??
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

He's a Shiite, complete with a photo of Imam Ali and religious chants programmed into his constantly ringing cell phone

iraqidon most of ure msgs suggest ure a shia-phobe or something... i haven't seen a msg from u that doesnt blame the shia for something or other.... if ure worried about clerics or ppl hiding behind religion than all religions are guilty... starting with the sunnis and their wahhabi sect. I doubt the other ppl like the kurds would allow iraq to be transformed into an iran style theorocracy anyway

It's not so much that I'm a Shia-phobe Dilnareen but I am against religious extremism coming from any sect. The Sunnis are by and large secular. Now Al-Dhra6i and his hay2a are nothing but Wahabi scum that lived in places like Afghanistan and Saudi before coming to Iraq and they do not represent the Sunnis. But the Shias are guided en-masse by their clerics and the 7awza which they condiser the word of God. They are the most sectarian people in Iraq in my opinion. The Kurds do hold veto power to hold off an theocracy hopefully but I still fear it won't be enough.
