Car Bomb Explodes in Assyrian Village in North Iraq
-- A car bomb exploded today (23/4/07) at 9:30 AM in the the Assyrian village of Telskuf, in the Nineveh Plain of North Iraq. The car bomb exploded in the middle of the village market, in front of the social club near the elementary school. Reports indicate that dozens were killed and injured, including one confirmed Assyrian (from the village of Mangesh) fatality, and shops were destroyed.
The injured were transported to hospitals in neighboring TelKef, Sheikhan and Dohuk.
