Come on, whats with the red and yellow flags!!!!!!! Are we kurds or pdk or puk. There should be one flag of puk and the rest should be kurdistan flags. Do the puk and pdk fight for their causes or for kurdish cause . Slemani was all wraped with green flags! imagine what the foreigners will say.

Same as the PKK, 1 million demonstrators carrying PKK flag and NO ONE CARRYING A FLAG THAT REPRESENTS KURDISTAN. Its a disgrace.

yes i am not with the flag thingie but nonetheless they are kurds and its in Kerkuk , plus its not a national day its the party anniversary so of course their flags will be waved on this day , but in different celebrations i am against it .

PKK wave their flag in every single celebration or ceremony the 2 dont even compare heval .

It is celebration of a party, nothing to do with a national celebration :P.
There are also lots of Kurdistan flags as you can see :).

My father is invited for a PUK celebration/party in Holland :P. He is a member of the Kurdish Veteran Society.

1,000 plots of land given to Arabs from Khanaqin & Kerkuk

PostAuthor: alan131210 » Tue Jun 05, 2012 4:08 pm

An advisor of the Diwaniyah governor has said that one thousand plots of land will be distributed to the Arabs returning from Kirkuk and Khanaqin after being compensated through the Article 140 Committee.

Nasir Issami, an advisor of the Diwaniyah province governor told the Furat News website, “The Council of Ministers has issued a formal order to distribute 1,000 residential plots of land in Diwaniyah province to the returning Arabs from the disputed areas of Kirkuk and Khanaqin.”

Issami said the families are already compensated by the Article 140 committee before their return to their original location in Diwaniyah.

Muhamad Khalil al-Jabouri, a member of the Article 140 committee in Kirkuk said, “The families ask not to be compensated and not to return to their original locations.”

In the times of the Baath regime, several Arab families were brought from the middle and south of Iraq to the north, especially in Kirkuk, in order to increase the Arab population. In the context of Article 140 implementation to reverse this policy, these Arabs have decided to return to their original locations. “Kirkuk officials should try to compensate the Arabs before they are leaving their current locations,” al-Jabouri said.

I think the turks were the ones who pressured america to tell them to go back =)) . They couldn't last in the mountain for less than a week. Let them try it again, they know who they will face and trust me, we have always been up for it and we are one of the only few nations in this world who have never been fed up or tired of war and never will.

Disputed town in Salahaddin granted $17m

PostAuthor: alan131210 » Sat Jun 09, 2012 7:56 am

09/06/2012

SALAHADDIN, June 9 (AKnews)- The territorially disputed Tuz Khurmatu town in Salahaddin province has been allocated a total of 20b IQD (almost $17.211m) by both Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and Baghdad, an official said.

A few days ago the KRG assured the administration in Tuz Khurmatu (80km south of Kirkuk) that it has been allocated some 7b IQD from 2012 budget, said Tuz Khurmatu Mayor Shalal Gado.

Kurdistan Parliament is yet to ratify 2012 budget bill.

Gado continued the Iraqi government has already allocated some 13b IQD to the town from 2012 budget.

"This budget will be exploited in the best way to serve the town," Gado said "Important and practical projects have and will enter the execution phase."

He named some of the projects which have been lunched with the fund, the cultural palace, a number of schools and sports centers for children, a court, the building of the local council, pavement projects and projects for improving electricity sector.

According to the official from 2003 to 2006 the administration in Suli allocated a semi-systematic fund of $5m to Tuz Khurmatu "but later it diminished.

"Since 2010 we were not allocated any big funds [by Kurdistan] except funds for some small projects allocated by Iraqi President Jalal Talabani."

Talabani's Patriotic Union of Kurdistan ruled for a while in the separate administration of Suli before it joined forces with Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) for creation of a coalition government in Erbil.

The multiethnic Tuz Khurmatu, with a population census of 180,000 individuals, was under the administrative reign of Kirkuk province. But during Saddam Hussein's regime it was annexed to Salahaddin province.

The town, along with many other districts, is one of the areas whose ownership is disputed by KRG and Baghdad.
