just draw the border guys time has come to end this madness once and for all, draw the border from south of kirkuk giving hawija to iraq, keep jalawla and sadyea in diyala upwards and Kurdish areas in mosul and off we go, there is no such thing left as article 140 its officially dead. we seal the borders from iraq where peshmerga currently is and kurdish lands where we stupidly called 'disputed' in 2003, stupid Kurdish politicians thought iraqis would settle these matters peacefully LOL #-o

The Kurdish political parties and organizations rallied on November 12 stressing that they will give seven days time to the Iraqi prime minister to cancel the Tigris operation.

The protesters marched from the Kirkuk office of the Iraqi Council of Ministers to the Kirkuk governor’s office, demanding the Tigris operations be cancelled.

Rebin Muhammad, in charge of the Kirkuk office of the Kurdistan Youth Organization and participant of the protest said “We, the Kurdish political parties and organization of Kirkuk, are protesting to cancel the Tigris operations.”

The protesters delivered a message to the Iraqi president, the speaker of the Council of Representatives, the prime minister, and the Kurdistan president which gives the period of seven days to Nouri al-Maliki to decommission the Tigris operation.

The representatives of the protesters met with the governor, the head of the Kirkuk Provincial Council and a number of the members of the KPC and handed them the same message.

“If our demands are not met within the seven-day period, we will take further actions like protests in the whole province,” the protesters stressed.

Dijla vs Peshmerga

PostAuthor: alan131210 » Thu Nov 15, 2012 3:47 am

The Kurdish parties organized a demonstration in Kirkuk against what they described as the militarization of civil society and the deployment of the Tigris forces, formed by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, in Kirkuk.

Meanwhile, political sources inside Kirkuk told Azzaman that Kirkuk's population is living in terror, fearing the outbreak of armed clashes between the Tigris forces and the Kurdish Peshmerga and the Asaish forces.

The sources said that dozens of foreign companies, especially Turkish ones, have suspended their activities and closed their doors because of the security situation. They said that the city’s trade activities are experiencing a downfall.

The sources explained that the North Oil Company (NOC), which is composed of Kurdish elements, has upped the level of surveillance on oil wells and NOC department buildings in Kirkuk for fear of attack on the part of the Tigris forces, but the sources said that oil production is still normal.

The sources pointed that the Tigris forces are still receiving weaponry reinforcements, as arms continue to flow to the Kurdish Peshmerga and Asaish forces.

I have said it before and I will say it a THOUSAND times more

We ALL know that Kirkuk is traditionally Kurdish and Saddam sent his Arabs there to drive out the Kurds. When Saddam was removed his Arab invaders into Kirkuk should have also been removed X(
