Your getting mixed up, its central for "southern" as you've put on your map. Southern and South-eastenr just merge as Southern.

did that on purpose. I think that it shouldn't be central because it's not very central at all.

In what sense? Geographic? Well you can stricly define the central part of Kurdistan, but the expanse of that spreads to the Soranis, that also neighbours North eastern Kurdistan.

clans, dialects, relationships with other kurds in the nearby area. And the names of the parts are based on geographic.

Yes geographical. Central would be an area of Northern, Western and Southern(or central as you would call it). Wait are there soranis neighbouring north eastern Kurdistan? :?

In that case Qurwa should belong to the southern part of the map and Halabja since the majority of kurds in Halabja speaks sorani but there are some villages that are hewrami speakers. Do kurds from Kifri speak sorani?

The map I have indoors shows the Kurdish area of WK as going down to the sea.

Are politicians trying to rewrite the maps to keep Kurds away from the sea and keep in landlocked :-o

I am looking for a new Kurdistan map that includes WK reaching the sea West and South of Efrin, just North if Latakia on the coast.

Do you guys also consider Hatay/Antakya as a Kurdish territory? I understand you want to have a sea access, but Hatay is predominately Turkish with some Kurdish and Arab population including Alevis.

These are historical maps, the demography could be different now, but I know that Kurds have been displaced from those areas before. If you ask me , yes I consider it Kurdish.
