Land of Karduchi

Anybody heard about this independent kingdom in the time of Xenophon?
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

All what we know about them comes from Xenophon. It was not really a kingdom, in fact. Just an independant population in their mountains, as it seems in Xenophon's tale.
