I have said it before, the term Assyrian was made by Christian missionaries. No one called themselves Assyrian before. I have had this discussion many times with them.

The so called assyrian are a very small minority in Iraq and Kurdistan . In fact their numbers are less than yazidi Kurds , less than chaldean , less than turkman and even less than shabaks . They have little or no impact on the direction the kurdish question is taking , so I would not worry about them at all . Their drums are very loud in diaspora but no one is listening and simply taking will never get them anything , infact it does the exact opposite.

We are not turks or arabs .Building bridges among communities that lives in Kurdistan is very important for the future of Kurdistan and we should never deny any communities that lives in Kurdisan their full and equal rights as citizins as long as they do not work against Kurds and Kurdistan because that is the Red line .
