Although fighters of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) have withdrawn from Aleppo in northern Syria, the so-called Revolutionary Youth, affiliated with the group, has reportedly kidnapped a young girl
Local activist Mustafa Sheikho told BasNews on Sunday that PKK-affiliated members abducted a girl named Diala Aliko in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, with the intention of forcibly recruiting her.
He added that the girl, who is from the village of Merkan in the Afrin region of Syrian Kurdistan, remains missing despite her family visiting PKK bases in an effort to locate her.

The group has reportedly kidnapped numerous individuals in the past. In recent days, another girl—an only child—was abducted.
Her father later released a video message threatening to set himself on fire if his daughter is not released.
Additionally, PKK fighters in Syrian Kurdistan have abducted several members of the Kurdish National Council (ENKS), along with activists and Kurdish journalists. Their whereabouts remain unknown.
