Police in Marseille raided at least 6 houses, an association and a market belonging to Kurdish activists in the early hours of the morning.
While the searches continued in the association and the market, it was learned that around 10 people were taken into custody. The reason for the raids was not disclosed. Kurds in Marseille gather in front of the association and protest the raids.
It is noteworthy that these raids coincided with the meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and French President Emmanuel Macron in early March.
