Did you know that there is a people that share the EXACT same faith as Kurds... The Sapmi people - they live in Norther Norway, Northern Sweden , Northern Finland and North Western Russia - They used to be free - and Sapmiland has been divided between these states...

They were mostly assimilated and their hildren were taken away from them by the governments - they were sent to norwegian schools and have forgotten almost ALL their culture and their language is dying out... Kurds of Northern Kurdistan share the EXACT same faith...

Not all of those flag's people want to be independent. And I know about the Sami, they have nice music and history. Their mythology is great.
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Yoiking is great. I used to know someone from a Shaman music group.

I don't see any comparision in the Sami culture with the Turks. They say that, but actually the word Turk came when Mustufa Kemal came around. Turks are a mix of everything.

You didn't get the point - the Turks and Samî have the same blood - and their language is Altaic... Just like Mongolian ;)

And as for TURKS - they are in their origin Mongols - that have mixed with Kurds, Greek, Armenian and Georgians... Also if you look at Azerbaijan - you will see how they have mixed with Persians...

This is the "turk" you see in commercials:

Only he is a KURD and not a Turk...

And this is what an "original turk" looks like:
