JET HACKED? MH370 – hackers could have unlocked cockpit door
and suffocated everyone to hijack missing Malaysian Airlines plane

Jeff Wise, an aviation expert who has regularly appeared on CNN, has claimed depressurising the jet would be a 'fairly straightforward' thing for hijackers to accomplish

MH370 may have been hijacked by hackers who unlocked the cockpit door then depressurised the plane to suffocate everyone inside, it has been claimed

The new theory comes just a few months after a damning "final" report on the doomed jet's mystery disappearance failed to determine exactly why it vanished.

The March, 2014, disappearance of the jet remains one of the history's greatest unsolved mysteries.

Jeff Wise, an aviation expert who has regularly appeared on CNN, told The Daily Star it would a "fairly straightforward" thing for hackers to accomplish.

He said: "I think it's hard to control 300-odd people. But it would be a fairly straight forward thing to depressurise the plane, and let the people suffocate.

"The idea is that if you get into the electronics bay, and you have access to computers that control the plane, you can do things like unlock the cockpit door.

He added: "You can unlock the cockpit door from the electronics bay. If there's a hijack under way the captain is going to lock the cockpit door.

"But if the captain is no longer in control of the plane, he's not in a good position."

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 took off from Kuala Lumpur and was heading to Beijing with 239 people on board.

But at 12.14am on March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines lost contact with MH370 close to Phuket island in the Strait of Malacca.

Before that, Malaysian authorities believe the last words heard from the plane, from either the pilot or co-pilot, was "Good night Malaysian three seven zero".

Satellite "pings" from the aircraft suggest it continued flying for around seven hours when the fuel would have run out.

Experts have calculated the most likely crash site around 1,000 miles west of Perth, Australia.

But a huge search of the seabed failed to find any wreckage - and there are a number of alternative theories as to its fate.

Did HACKERS unlock cockpit and SUFFOCATE passengers?

MH370 COULD have been hijacked with hackers potentially suffocating passengers from the cockpit according to new claims

A new theory into the disappearance of flight MH370 claims that hijackers could have unlocked the cockpit door and suffocated those inside the plane by depressurising the cabin. The new theory emerged just a few months after a final report into the disappearing jet failed to make clear why the plane had vanished. MH370 disappeared in March 2014, along with the 239 passengers and crew onboard.

Aviation expert Jeff Wise who regularly appears on CNN told The Daily Star Online that hackers could have indeed targeted the plane.

The author told Daily Star Online: "I think it's hard to control 300-odd people.

"But it would be a fairly straightforward thing to depressurise the plane and let the people suffocate.

"The idea is that if you get into the electronics bay, and you have access to computers that control the plane, you can do things like unlock the cockpit door.

"You can unlock the cockpit door from the electronics bay.

“If there's a hijack's underway the captain is going to lock the cockpit door.

"But if the captain is no longer in control of the plane, he's not in a good position."

Mr Wise’s suspicions hinge on the fact the Boeing 777-200’s transponder was switched off as it flew into Vietnamese air control.

Report into the disappearance of MH370

The report into the disappearance of MH370 did not reveal what happened to the plane (Image: GETTY)

However, it later issues a number of "pings" with an Inmarsat satellite when the Satellite Data Unit (SDU) had rebooted, according to the Australian Transport Bureau.

Mr Wise who authored the book The Plane That Wasn't There: Why We Haven't found Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, has asked for the Inmarsat data be re-examined.

He continued: "Can you assure me that the Inmarsat data, upon which you've been basing your search, has not been tampered with?

"I would say not, you cannot tell me how that box was turned off, no one can explain how that box came to be turned back on.

"I would say it cannot happen accidentally, and that to do it deliberately requires a sophisticated understanding of electronics.

"I hope investigators can look at this scenario and address: is this possible, that somebody could have performed this tampering I have described? Just address it.

"I say the electronics bay is accessible by an unlocked hatch.

“If they could say no, the hatch was locked, or we know the box does not work that way that would be powerful evidence."

MH370 latest: Aviation investigators to probe US tech firms over ‘HACKING’ theory

FRENCH investigators trying to crack the mystery of Flight MH370 are waiting for permission to quiz US tech companies amid bombshell claims hackers may have interfered with he ill-fated passenger jet’s satellite communication systems

France is the only country still actively investigating the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 which vanished on March 8, 2014 after taking off from Kuala Lumpur for Beijing with 239 passengers and crew aboard.

Sources close to the French probe said analysts from the research section of the Gendarmerie Air Transport (GTA) were waiting for the green light from US authorities.

According the L’Essor, an unofficial journal for the French military police, the investigators want to check overseas if a US company sells software capable of reprogramming or even hacking the Satcom.

The system is used by airlines to transmit messages about the state of the aircraft in flight and its communications.

Independent investigator Victor Iannallo said: “This story, if true, suggests that the French judiciary system, and in turn the military police that are assigned to the case, are seriously considering whether the Inmarsat data was corrupted by a malicious intrusion into the Satcom onboard MH370 :-?

“Considering that the Inmarsat data is consistent with the aircraft crashing in the Southern Indian Ocean near the seventh arc of the search zone, and that the timing and location of the recovered parts from the aircraft also suggest that the aircraft crashed in the sea, to doubt the Inmarsat data implies doubting the veracity of the recovered parts.

“This is the first time a government investigative body is known to be seriously considering a hack of the Satcom combined with planting of debris.”

Flight MH370 remains one of the most enduring mysteries in aviation history.

Searches of the Indian Ocean seabed failed to locate the plane after its baffling disappearance and there has always been the hint of some sort of cover-up by the Malaysian authorities.

A long-awaited report by Malaysian investigators published last July claimed mechanical problems were not to blame.

It also dismissed theories the pilot and first officer crashed the plane in a suicide mission.

The report concluded the plane was manually turned around in mid-air and was not on autopilot when it vanished.

It said “unlawful interference by a third party” could not be ruled out.

Dr Iannello said: “An honest, competent investigation of any type is to be welcomed, and there is always the chance some new evidence or insights will be uncovered that help us to better understand the disappearance and to find the plane.”

Plane could have vanished after batteries EXPLODED in midair

Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared after Lithium Ion batteries exploded on the fateful Malaysia Airlines flight, causing it to crash according to a retired United Airlines pilot

Four years have passed since the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines plane MH370 and experts have put the investigation to rest after making little progress in that time. However, one aviation expert has urged authorities to reopen the investigation, believing he has the solution. Captain Ross Aimer said the Boeing 777-200 could have burst into flames after lithium ion (Li-ion) batteries exploded on the aircraft.

Mr Aimer, who says he's flown every Boeing ever built, told the Daily Star: "From the very beginning my gut feeling was a possible onboard fire.

"Looking at a few catastrophic crashes caused by onboard fires, I see some similarities.

"For example, the fiery crash of a UPS 747-400 freighter in Dubai that was destroyed as a result of runaway Lithium batteries, and a few other crashes because of fire.”

The UPS plane caught fire and plummeted nine miles from Dubai International Airport killing two crew members on board after Li-ion batters exploded.

The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said the "investigation concludes with reasonable certainty that the location of the fire was an element of the cargo that contained, among other items, lithium batteries".

MH370 was carrying 221kg lithium-ion batteries it was carrying in its cargo, and although the chances are slim, with an explosion rate of around one in 10 million, it is not impossible.

As a result, Mr Aimer has called for another investigation into MH370.

He said: "I totally support another search, or even a series of searches. We cannot give up on this biggest disappearance mystery of our time.

"Let’s put some smart minds together and use the technology we have to find this thing.”

On March 8, 2014, a Boeing 777 Malaysian Airlines flight carrying 239 vanished over the Indian Ocean without a trace, leaving the world baffled.

Four years later, experts are no closer to solving the mystery and had officially given up on the search earlier this year.

Chief Investigator Kok Soo Chon said: “We cannot determine with any certainty the reason the plane diverted from its planned route.

“The team is unable to determine the real reason for the disappearance.”

Mathematical analysis could pinpoint PRECISE location of missing plane

THE FINAL resting place of missing flight MH370 can be pinpointed using “mathematical analysis” and visually represented on a map, a close observer of the tragedy has claimed

Mike Chillit, who has been closely following investigations into the missing aircraft, has used “mathematical analysis” to corroborate their findings.

He told Express.co.uk: “The plane’s location is known.

“It has been known since early 2016 when three international studies concluded the flaperon that washed up on Reunion Island originated on ‘The Seventh Arc’ somewhere between Batavia Seamount and Zenith Plateau, approximately 1,300 kilometres off the Western Australian coast.

“Aviation Investigation is an evidence-based discipline.

“The loss of 239 lives and respect for the families of those onboard underscores the importance of the diagnostic work done by Germany, France and USA’s NOAA.

“My mathematical analysis confirms the accuracy of their findings.”

The studies upon which Mr Chillit based his work used complex particle models to conduct analyses of the plane’s projected location.

The MH370 follower then developed elaborate mathematics to ascertain the validity of the research and showed his findings on a map.

Explaining the Google Maps graphic, he said: “The red pin is the endpoint on the southwest face of Zenith Plateau.

“It is a slope that descends to a canyon of at least 5,000 meters.

“The green pins are where Australia's Ocean shield searched in April 2014.

“The white squiggly area is where Ocean Infinity gave up this past June. They were very close to the wreckage.

“The two ellipses are artefacts of the wobble Inmarsat's 3-F1 satellite.

“The separation between the ellipses at the crash point is 44 km.

“That also happens to be the margin of error for the plane's terminal location.”

Referring to the detail of his findings, Mr Chillit said: “Mathematically, the axis has to pass from the satellite's location when the plane departed to the plane's departure GPS at Kuala Lumpur.

“It thereby ensures that the endpoint will accurately measure the length of the 'Seventh Arc' travelled by the plane.

“In real life, the correction moves the plane's endpoint northeast about 240 km to the slopes of Zenith Plateau.”

MH370 entire plane pictured as jungle crash site
    wreckage parts ALL identified
MISSING flight MH370 may have sensationally been found using satellite images – and Daily Star Online has pieced together objects that could belong to the plane

The hunt for the missing MH370 jet intensified after what appeared to be wreckage was found on Google Maps in the jungle by Brit Ian Wilson.

A second “crash site” 10 miles away was then seen on satellite images by fellow part-time plane-hunter Daniel Boyer.

And in pictures given exclusively to Daily Star Online, Mr Boyer has labelled different objects which he believes belong to the missing plane.

The grainy photos show several white pieces lying on the forest floor north-west of Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh.

And amazingly the wreckage appears around 70metres long – the same length of a Boeing 777.

Boyer told Daily Star Online that after hours of painstaking research, he discovered one piece measures 17.8ft – close to the 19ft 3in of a Boeing cockpit, leaving him “convinced” this was the front of the plane.

And he insisted he can see the red outline of Malaysia Airlines’ logo on another piece, which he said must be the tail.

Furthermore, Mr Boyer believes one object is the engine.

He claims the measurements of 4.37m wide and 2.79m length are similar to that seen on a standard engine.

Meanwhile, Mr Boyer said he can see the fuselage and nose of the plane in the pictures he has obtained.

He points to gap in trees nearby that could be evidence of a plane crashing nearby.

Mr Boyer told this website: “I couldn’t believe it when I made the sighting.

“I have been able to identify several parts from what could be the plane.

“The response to the sighting has been overwhelming.

“The debris definitely needs to be investigated.”

The earth-shattering discoveries are potentially a massive breakthrough in what has become one of the world’s greatest aviation mystery of all time.

MH370 took off from Malaysia’s capital and was heading to China’s capital when it vanished without a trace.

At 12.14am on March 8, 2014, the plane lost contact close to Phuket island in the Strait of Malacca.

Despite two large-scale searches of the sea bed, only scattered pieces of debris have been found.

The lack of more debris has meant several theories have emerged over what could have happened to the jet.

One popular theory, which came about only weeks after the plane went missing, was that pilot Captain Zaharie Shah planned and executed a mass murder due to personal problems.

The last communication from the plane was from Shah who signed off with “Good night, Malaysian three seven zero”, as the plane left the Malaysian airspace.

But a 19-strong team of Malaysian investigators revealed in July there was no reason to suspect the behaviour of the captain or the first officer suggested any malicious intent.

They also ruled out any mechanical problems.

Was stricken Malaysia Airlines jet brought down by devastating fire?

A former airline pilot believes Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 could have burst into flames after take off but still travelled for hours before crashing into the ocean

The Boeing 777 vanished on on March 8, 2014, during a routine flight between Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur and Beijing and remains one of aviation history’s most enduring mysteries. The plane had just left Malaysian airspace, when for unknown reasons it changed course and then flew for more than six hours with its satellite and navigation systems turned off, before disappearing. A new theory suggests the ill-fated plane veered off course after being engulfed by flames in a devastating fire that killed all 239 passengers and crew on board.

Retired United Airlines pilot Captain Ross Aimer told Daily Star Online his "gut feeling" was that the 221kg of lithium-ion batteries in the airliner’s hold of erupted in flames shortly after take-off.

He said the plane could then have continued its flight even after everyone on board was killed.

Capt Aimer said: "The fire may have started during or shortly after take off, since things started to happen as soon as they levelled off.

"It is possible the fire killed everyone onboard then continued burning the aircraft until it crashed. Since the flaperon was discovered in the ocean, it most probably crashed into the ocean."

A controversial safety report into the disappearance of flight MH370 found the plane was manually turned around in mid-air, rather than being under the control of autopilot, and that “unlawful interference by a third party” could not be ruled out.

But it dismissed theories that had suggested the pilot and first officer brought the plane down in a suicide mission and also ruled out mechanical failure as a cause.

It said all four of MH370’s emergency locator transmitters (ELT), malfunctioned, meaning they did not give off the normal distress signals that would help locate the plane.

The report noted that “there have been reported difficulties with ELT signals if an aircraft enters the water” but could not give conclusive reasons for the failure.

Attempts to locate the plane have been extensive over the past four years, turning into one of the largest underwater search operations in history, but have yielded no results other than three wing fragments that washed up.

Prophet who predicted Trump’s Presidency
says MH370 tragedy was sign from God

A MAN who predicted the rise of Donald Trump years before the billionaire rose to power also claimed the disappearance of MH370 was ultimately a sign from God

Controversial singing prophet Kim Clement, who died in late 2016, predicted the rise of Donald Trump in 2007, and spoke about the disappearance of MH370 years before the tragedy, it has emerged. Mr Clement, who a small circle of followers considered him a Christian prophet, foretold the MH370 tragedy of 2014 and said it would be an act of God. Sunil Isaac, a close friend and considered the ‘codebreaker’ of Mr Clement, says that the ‘prophet’s’ prediction of the rise of President Trump and the cancellation of the search for MH370 were signs from God.

Writing for Christian website Elijah List, Mr Isaac wrote shortly after the innaguration of President Trump: "With the inauguration of America's 45th President, Donald J Trump, and the suspension of the search for missing Malaysian Jet MH370, two events which occurred within recent days, a season of wealth transfer commenced.

“It is tragically heartbreaking to even imagine the pain and suffering the families of the passengers who are still missing on MH370 are going through.

“In the natural, these two events do not seem related. But in the supernatural, there is a prophetic connection.

“This is not the first time God will bring forth sweet from bitter and light out of darkness. At creation, God commanded light out of darkness.”

On March 8, 2014, a Boeing 777 Malaysian Airlines flight carrying 239 people vanished over the Indian Ocean without a trace, leaving the world baffled.

Four years later, experts are no closer to solving the mystery and officially stopped the search earlier this year.

Chief Investigator Kok Soo Chon said: “We cannot determine with any certainty the reason the plane diverted from its planned route.

“The team is unable to determine the real reason for the disappearance.”

Missing Malaysia Airlines plane LOCATED
claims plane hunter with NEW images

NEW IMAGES prove the MH370 plane crash-landed in the Cambodian jungle claims ‘plane hunter’ Daniel Boyer, after an expedition to the suspected site had to be abandoned

Looks like windows to me

The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 went missing on 8 March 2014 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Cambodia came under the microscope after tech expert Ian Wilson spotted what he believes is the plane on Google Maps northwest of the capital Phnom Penh. Mr Wilson embarked on a search on the ground in recent weeks, but was forced to abandon his mission as it was too dangerous.

Before the trip, he said: "I feel like I know the plane is there and I just want to see it through to the end."

The Google Maps satellite photos show white spots scattered around what appears to be a disrupted forest bed.

Mr Wilson and Mr Boyer believe this is the debris from the crashed plane and that the white areas are the broken plane parts.

Mr Boyer claims he has now uncovered images of the jungle before the plane crash that prove their theory - pictures of the same area in 2008 and 2011 depicting a supposedly undisturbed forest area.

He told Express.co.uk: “I bought some archive imagery of the jungle before the plane crash.

“The jungle is 100 percent undisturbed.

“This is important because with this place being so deserted it’s impossible for any humans to disturb this giant area unless it was a plane crash site.

“Naturally nothing was there before the crash.”

Mr Boyer added: “Objects the size of a house resembling aircraft debris don’t just end up placed five miles deep in the jungle by humans unless of course, it was a plane crash.”

The MH370 commercial aeroplane had 239 passengers and crew on board when it disappeared from radar screens during a handover from Malaysian to Vietnamese air traffic controllers.

Extensive searches have only led to a discovery of some debris, thought to be parts of the wreckages, in the Indian Ocean as well as in South Africa and Mozambique.

In July this year, Malaysian authorities admitted they did not know what happened to the plane.

U.S. judge dismisses litigation over flight 370
By Jonathan Stempel

(Reuters) - A U.S. judge has dismissed nationwide litigation over the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 in which victims’ families sought to hold the carrier, its insurer Allianz SE and Boeing Co liable for the still-unexplained disaster

U.S. District Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson in Washington ruled on Wednesday night that the wrongful death and product liability litigation, encompassing 40 lawsuits, did not belong in the United States.

She said the case belonged in Malaysia, which has an “overwhelming interest” in and “substantial nexus” to the March 8, 2014 disappearance of Flight MH370, a Boeing 777 heading to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur with 239 people on board.

“At its core, this case is about the unexplained disappearance of a passenger plane operated by Malaysia Airlines as part of its national air carrier fleet following its departure from a Malaysian airport,” Jackson wrote.

“Litigation in the United States related to the Flight MH370 disaster is inconvenient,” she added.

The 61-page decision is a setback for plaintiffs from the United States, Australia, China, India and Malaysia who represented more than 100 Flight MH370 passengers, including from Japan.

The plane is believed to have crashed in the south Indian Ocean after veering far off course, but no remains or large pieces of wreckage have been found.

Flight MH370’s disappearance remains one of the world’s greatest aviation mysteries.

A 495-page report from Malaysian investigators in July offered no clear answers about what happened.

The plaintiffs sued under the Montreal Convention, an international treaty governing air transportation incidents, and various U.S. state laws.

Mary Schiavo, a lawyer for some of the plaintiffs, said in an email on Friday her clients were preparing for a June 2019 trial in Kuala Lumpur over the plane.

Malaysia Airlines, Boeing, their respective lawyers, and lawyers for other plaintiffs did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The carrier was insured by Allianz’s Global Corporate & Specialty SE unit, according to Wednesday’s decision. Hugo Kidston, a spokesman for the unit, declined to comment.

The case is In re: Air Crash Over the Southern Indian Ocean, on March 8, 2014, U.S. District Court, District of Columbia, No. 16-mc-01184.

MH370 BOMBSHELL: US judge dismisses flight
MH370 lawsuit saying ‘Malaysia is RESPONSIBLE'

A US JUDGE has dismissed litigation brought forward by the families of the victims of the missing flight MH370, claiming the case belongs in Malaysia not the US

The lawsuit filed on behalf of more than 100 MH370 victims sought to hold the carrier, the insurer and Boeing accountable for the disaster. However, in Washington on Wednesday night, US District Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson ruled that the litigation did not belong in the US. Instead, Judge Brown Jackson claimed the case belonged in Malaysia, as the country has an “overwhelming interest” in and a “substantial nexus” to the disappearance of the MH370 flight.

She added: “At its core, this case is about the unexplained disappearance of a passenger plane operated by Malaysia Airlines as part of its national air carrier fleet following its departure from a Malaysian airport.

“Litigation in the US related to the Flight MH370 disaster is inconvenient.”

The Boeing 777 vanished on March 8, 2014, during a routine flight between the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur and Beijing, and remains one of aviation history’s most enduring mysteries.

The plane had just left Malaysian airspace when for unknown reasons it changed course and flew for more than six hours with its satellite and navigation systems turned off, before disappearing.

Countless theories have emerged as to what happened, including claims the aircraft crash landed in the Cambodian jungle.

However, the most popular theory is that the plane’s disappearance was a government cover-up, with many suggesting the CIA, Russians, Chinese or Malaysians are responsible.

Malaysia’s current prime minister Mahathir Mohamad corroborated this argument, suggesting US secret agents know where the plane is located.

He said in 2014: “Someone is hiding something.”

Another theory is that a battery explosion or mechanical failure may have occurred, as more than two tonnes of lithium-ion batteries were located in the cargo hold.

Four tonnes of mangosteen fruit were also being carried in the plane, and some believe juice from the fruit may have leaked and come into contact with the batteries, triggering an explosion.

Another widely circulated theory is that air pressure in the cabin depressurised and life-saving oxygen masks did not work.

At an altitude of 35,000ft, those on board would have had between 30 and 60 seconds before falling unconscious.

This could explain why no distress calls were made from the cockpit or the passengers.

MH370 BREAKTHROUGH: New hope to find
missing plane as radar engineer fronts £5m operation

MH370’s final resting place could be found by a UK-based radar engineer who is putting together an ambitious £5million operation - including £3.5million of his own money - which he is convinced will lead to the sensational discovery of the doomed Malaysia Airlines flight

The plane, which was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew went missing in mysterious circumstances, went missing in March 2014 during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8, 2014. Its whereabouts has never been found, leading to a vast range of theories, including terrorism, and fanciful claims it had crash-landed in jungles of Cambodia or Malaysia. However, Daniel Holland, special projects director with Daedalus Maritime, is convinced the craft crashed into a small section of the Indian Ocean.

However, Daniel Holland, special projects director with Daedalus Maritime, is convinced the craft crashed into a small section of the Indian Ocean.

And now he putting together an operation to prove his theory using £3.5 million of his own cash from his grandfather's estate, plus a crowdsourcing initiative to raise the remaining £1.5 million they will need.

Mr Holland, 33, who lives in Farnham in Hampshire, and who has been following the MH370 ever since it disappeared four years ago, admits the mystery has become something of a “passion” for him.

He told Express.co.uk he had decided to take drastic action after reading recent stories suggesting the plane was somewhere in the jungles of south east Asia – claims he regards as entirely unfounded, and based on fundamental misinterpretation of images spotted on Google Earth.

By contrast, Mr Holland and colleagues have undertaken meticulously calculations based and where debris thought to be from the plane has been found in the Indian Ocean.

He told Express.co.uk: “From that we’ve used trigonometry, essentially, to work out where that debris has emanated from.”

The result is that he has narrowed the search area down to 100 square miles.

Large as this sounds, it is vastly smaller than the region which was the subject of an extensive search by an Australian team earlier this year.

The father of three said: “I want to get this project up and running in six weeks.

“I want the families involved to have closure.

“There’s been too much speculation, too many wild theories.

“It’s gone on too long now and if I manage to find it for them I will be the happiest man on Earth.”

The complex operation involves Daniel, friends and colleagues and other interested parties, all of whom have put money into the project.

It will require the team, consisting of former Royal Navy and Merchant Navy officers, to hire a salvage vessel to undertake the search.

However, he is also seeking permission from the United Kingdom Flight Safety Committee (UKFC) and the Malaysian authorities to go ahead.

He added: “I want to do this properly and for everything to be above board.”

Mr Holland’s justgiving page states: “The problem is the failed attempts at locating the wreckage of MH370 and giving the victims a recognised grave site, but also giving the families the closure they so rightly deserve.

“The reason I have a passion for this cause, is that the families are in a state of limbo and have a very real and true right to know where they are so the grieving process can finally occur. The other aspect i want to do this is stopping the fake news stories and false hope articles.

“Having an operational and engineering seafaring background and the ability to analyse data from all angles and not from a slanted view, I feel and hope might just bring this to a close.”

A spokeswoman from Air Crash Investigation Australia support group told Express.co.uk relatives of the victims of MH370 were skeptical about the plans and urged Mr Holland to offer his evidence for peer review.

She said: "After discussions with some of the next of kin to those on MH370 they would like the person to put their money up front before asking for any money from the public.

"They would also like this man to make his data series available for peer review. A genuine scientists would put his evidence forward and the fact that he hasn't done so is ringing alarm bells."

MH370 location: Is THIS Google Maps coordinate
in Cambodia the crash site of MH370 flight?

MH370’s’s final resting place deep in the jungles of Cambodia was found on Google Map coordinates, according to astonishing claims

Google Map’s satellite imagery of the entire planet was used to pinpoint the location of a potential plane wreckage in central Cambodia. The Google Maps coordinates of 12°05'20"N 104°09'05"E hone in on a section of jungle near the border of Pursat Province and Kampong Speu Province. The location appears to show an aeroplane surrounded by thick jungle coverage. Some online sleuths believe this could be the doomed Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 which vanished on March 8, 2014.

The tragic aviation mystery most likely claimed the lives of 227 passengers and 12 crew members shortly after MH30 took off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia, to Beijing Airport.

The bizarre Google Maps coordinates were discovered in September this year by UK-based video producer Ian Wilson.

Online conspiracy theorists who have since analysed the supposed crash site have labelled the discovery “pretty nuts”.

One Reddit users shared a second set of coordinates to the right of the plane, showing what appears to be an arrow – maybe even left behind by humans.

The person posted: “So if you put in these coordinates, 12°05'18"N 104°09'27”E, you will see the plane image.

"What really haunts me is if you look at 12°05'18"N 104°09'27”E, you’ll see what looks like an image of an arrow that points right, directly to the wreckage as if the survivors made this in the mountain to point to the pane to help us find them.”

Another redditor, CanadianCoder77, commented: “Great find, would be amazing if it is the aircraft. Those poor families need closure.”

Most were, however, not convinced by the startling discovery, pointing towards a stacking amount of evidence suggesting this is not the missing MH370 flight.

It is far more likely the aircraft in question was an intact aeroplane passing over this part of the Cambodian jungle when the Google photo was snapped.

The plane also appears to have a so-called T-tail configuration where the craft’s tailplane is mounted on the back fin and not the fuselage.

The MH370 flight was a Boeing 777-200 long-range plane which follows the stands tailplane configuration.

The Google Maps theory also falls apart considering the bits and pieces of potential MH370 debris found on beaches throughout the region, suggesting MH370 drowned in the ocean.

A nearly 450-page report on MH370 compiled by Malaysia’s government in July 2018 concluded there is no conclusive cause of the plane’s disappearance.

One theory suggests MH370 flew too high and the pilot, Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shad, lost consciousness.

Other theories suggest a cabin-wide fire could have brought the plane down and some have even suggested a hijacking or terror attack.

And one conspiracy theorist went as far as to suggest the French prophet Nostradamus predicted the disappearance of MH370 more than 400 years ago.

The official July report stated it did “not exclude the intervention of a third party” the exact cause of the tragedy remains a mystery.

MH370 DECEPTION?
Aviation expert claims plane direction could have been FALSIFIED

MH370 could have travelled in the opposite direction to which investigators believe and its transmission data falsified, according to aviation analyst Jeff Wise

The missing Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8 2014 before its disappearance with 239 people aboard. Investigators concluded it probably crashed into the Indian Ocean after dropping off the grid, a theory based significantly on satellite data from Inmarsat. However, Mr Wise claims this communication could have been faked.

He said: “For the last four years I’ve been making the case that there is one known way by which the Inmarsat data could have been falsified as it was being transmitted from the plane.

“This falsification would make the plane look like it was heading south when it was really heading north, and would explain why an exhaustive quarter-billion-dollar search of the southern seabed found no trace of the plane.”

Mr Wise dismissed the main theory as “absurd”, stating his own idea is much simpler.

He said: “It shows, as I and others have pointed out, that after an aggressive turnback at IGARI and a high-speed flight over peninsular Malaysia and up the Malacca Strait, the plane disappeared from primary radar and then turned north.

“Some have proposed that this is best explained by the assumption that whoever was in charge of the plane wanted to avoid conflicting traffic on the airway, but that is absurd - there was no conflicting traffic, and anyway it would be very simple to avoid any such hypothetical traffic by flying at a nonstandard altitude.

“A simpler explanation is that they turned to the north because they were heading north.”

Inmarsat defended the data they provided as part of the investigation into the missing plane.

A company spokesman said: “We retain full confidence in the data and the analysis undertaken by the international investigation team, of which Inmarsat was part.”

Inmarsat said just hours after the disappearance (12.11am UTC on March 9 2014) that the last complete ‘handshake’ took place on a radius zone that runs through Cambodia.

A number of theories have sprung up that the plane actually crash-landed in the Cambodian jungle.

Tech expert Ian Wilson believes he has found the location on Google Maps.

He said: “Initially I thought it crashed into the sea. But then there’s the northern and southern corridors.

“When I eventually came across that plane it was surreal, the ahis stood on the back of my neck.”

Another researcher, Daniel Boyer, also believes he has spotted the plane in the Cambodian jungle, having carried out analysis of the the plane's measurements and compared with satellite images of the area.

However, the Malaysian government said the last handshake may not be the final position of the aircraft.

There is also other evidence that MH370 landed in the Indian Ocean, from debris washed up on the island of Reunion believed to be from the jet.

MH370 ‘PROOF’?
Trail of DESTRUCTION from missing Malaysia Airlines plane FOUND

The missing MH370 plane destroyed foliage with its engines as it crash-landed in the Cambodian jungle, according to independent researcher Daniel Boyer who believes he has found its location

The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 disappeared without a trace on March 8 2014, en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 souls aboard. Mr Boyer claims he has found satellite images of the wreckage on Google Earth and Apple Maps. His latest evidence for this is the two “trails” of scraped trees leading up to the crash site, which he believes was caused by the “massive engines” of MH370.

He said: “I am so convinced and 100 percent sure this is the plane. There is just countless proof.

“I am willing to go to prison for the rest of my life if this wasn’t the plane. That would never happen because it is.”

The amateur ‘investigator said he measured the distance between each trail and found they were 16.7m apart “no matter what part of the trail you measure”.

He said: “This supports the theory the plane’s engines caused this because the objects that broke through the trees are in a fixed position.”

Mr Boyer also compared the trails to known measurements of the aircraft.

He said: “The distance between both trails caused by the engines are the exact same distance between a Boeing 777’s engines.

“The size of each breakage trail is the same width as the Trent 800 engines used on the missing Boeing 777.

“The size of the engine is 2.8m just like the lines created.”

Mr Boyer is confident his latest findings prove his theory and that the location he has identified should be investigated.

The ‘plane-hunter’ said: “The wreckage has measurable pieces the same size as the Boeing 777 including the nose, engine and fuselage, but the trails left by the engines on approach into the trees prove that this plane that flew into this spot.

“People need to go into the jungle and investigate this area for I am 100 percent sure that is the missing jetliner.

“The government has been looking in the wrong place this whole time for the jet.”

He provided several images representing his findings.
