I have just discovered the site. It would be funny to apply the rule : one book read, one recipe cooked.

Btw, talking about pistacchio ice-cream made me like to buy a box of it. Though the weather is not warm, and quite stormy and rainy.

I walked more than 8000 steps today so I burnt all the calories of my ice cream. ;)

Yesterday I enjoyed some ice cream of my grand children. After their dinner, their mum gave each one an ice cream. They forced me to carry their ice creams, each one in a hand. Each now and then they came to lick their ice cream and with a reminder like this: 'Grand dad don't eat my ice cream, ok grand dad'. I was replying yes my darling. But when ever they were not looking I was getting a small bite at the lower part of the ice cream. :-D

"This is a book for the servantless cook who can be unconcerned on occasion with budgets, waistlines, timetables, children’s meals, or anything else which might interfere with the enjoyment of producing something wonderful to eat."

Mastering the Art of French Cooking, I. Julia Child, Louisette Bertholle, Simone Beck.

I love that program : that is happy wisdom.

Just bought the 2 volumes. It will be my Bible.

At dinner, I will eat Beef Carpaccio. As for sushis, a good and tasty way to eat raw meat. :-D

I've just learned that kind deers, when they need calcium and proteins, never hesitate to crunch small chicks when they find a nest in the herbs, as many else herbivores.

Now I imagine veggies' disgusted eyes if they'd seen cute Bambi and its sanguine smile, after he devoured Tweety Bird =)) =)) =)) =))

Tomorrow, I will be angelic : Carottes et navets à l'étuvée. :D
