Are you suggesting that if we have hot soup we will be more at risk of catching colds and flu?

Not necessarily as long as your body can provide enzymes enough. This shouldn't create a risk for a healthy body but if you have any health problem and over eat and over drink any type of liquid with your meal your body could fail to produce enzymes enough or completely stop for a while. When this happens your immune system also stops.

Well I continue my dangerous life :

I drink a lot of water, sometime amore than 2 liters per day, but never during meal. Even the wine, I drink it after the meal, generally (except during big French feasts meals, with our 4 or 5 different wines in one meal).

Breakfast :

Coffee, sugar, a slice of bread (house made whole meat bread), butter, Brie (40 g). 10 g of dark chocolate (begin to be fed up with all the chocolate :( )

Lunch :

Sole with lemon and soja sauce, salad of cauliflowers, 10g of chocolate.

Snack :

a cup of tea with licorice and cinnamon flavor (sugarless).

Dinner :

Eggplants and tomatoes gratinées with mozzarella, smoked raw ham, 10 g of chocolate, 2 glasses of wine.

+ 30 mn of yoga, and might be 6000 steps.

Raw ? lol no. I cook them with water in the micro wave oven, and then eat them colder with the sole and a sauce of cottage cheese and lemon.

But may be @Londoner will tell us that a RAW cauliflower is good and a cooked one a poison :-D

Londoner is a bit of a scientist and he researches things :-?

I could not follow a diet that has me drinking as much water as he recommends - I would be in the loo all day

In UK there was an advertising campaign to get us all to eat certain live yoghurts because of the enzymes - so probably enzymes in the stomach do affect our digestion

My parents always believed that "A little of what you fancy does you good" and "Variety is the spice of life" also "We are what we eat"

I take from that a variety of food is good for us - but excess is not good

I grew up on fresh farm produce and often buy food from the farm shops or farmer's markets

It would be interesting if Londoner post as we do a 'typical menu' for all the day according to his method.

Headache since yesterday. Does anyone know a miraculous remedy ? /:)

Not even hungry.

Breakfast :

coffee, with chocolate powder, a small cup of cottage cheese, a spoon of honey & royal jelly.

Lunch :

hamburger meat, green beans.

Dinner :

chicken escalope, soup of vegetables (I LOVE soups since I am a child, I am a soup, cheese and saucisson addict ! :-D ) ; 2 glasses of Bordeaux rouge.

20 mn of Yoga, probably 5000 steps, and one dopliprane…

Is the pollution that bad in Paris?

I was thinking more in terms of the stress

I do remember you mentioning several time that you had a very bad headache that often lasted more than a day

BUT only during the working week never on holiday

If the pollution is so bad it might hurt Piling

In fact, it happens often when I follow a diet during the bad moony days of the month : I should better to eat huge portions of red meat full of blood and iron :-D
