I hope those Kurd are a minority and very poor?? If Kurdish media report about this, it would give a very negative view about the Kurds..
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

I am sure they are... But remember there are 40 million Kurds in the world - possibly more... so 10% of 40 million is like... ALOT of people! And lets take Norway 10% of 4 million is like... VERY little...!!! So there are more Kurds who might be doing this than Norwegians.. but not if you compare population ratio...

do you mean because his gay or because he killed a man?

ther is nothing wrong whit gay people...
and its not only kurds that is killing people....

those boys her in norway that is kaphe for gays,, are normal, not poor not rich,,, thay are just like all of you....

i dont have problem if they want to be whit boys, but it dont like that they are kaphe,,,
and they are not open about it,,, they are saying we are not qonder,,,,
""im kurdish i can not be gay....."""

you dont think god make kurds gay?? there are gay people all over the world in every country ,but not in kurdistan...............?

Yes.. people are gay from birth - genetics not thought.

And Yes.. It would give Kurds a bad name by muslims.

Rebwar

You are probably right... As a matter of fact there is ONE Kurd in Bergen who is "openly" gay... well as openly as possible anyway - at Newroz celebration he was looking at me in a way that made me feel a bit uncomfortable... Not because he was looking at me - but because people at the celebration might think the same about me... I was only told AFTERWARDS that he was... I didn't know.. Hahaha - So my brother and I had a laugh when I told him that he was staring at me all the night! Hahaha..

Hey - it's only funny - a pluralist society accepts ALL sides of society - also people who are gay...
