Kassem - I think Allawi is a part of Islam - You believe in Imam Ali and Muhammed and Allah... so ergo you are muslim... 
I considered to put up the option Allewi because it is a bit different but I thought about it and concluded that Catholics and Protestants and Orthodox are three different ways to be Christian.. so Sunni and Shia and Allewi are three different ways to be Muslim!

Hmmmm... then I think you should be in the group "Other - Asian" as much of what you are saying appareantly is against Islam - not that anythings wrong with that...

The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.
