Spain will win this year's World Cup, according to EA's 2010 FIFA World Cup game.

EA has simulated the World Cup with all 32 teams under the same conditions they will face in the weeks ahead.

The strictly scientific experiment, which we assume involved white coats and everything, dictated that Spain will defeat Brazil 3-1 at Soccer City in the final on July 11 to win its first World Cup.

According to the game, David Villa will win the Golden Boot, Kaka the Golden Ball, South Africa will be the first team to bow out and England will be knocked out by Brazil 5-4 on penalties in the semis. That last bit sounds worryingly possible.
