A forgotten kurdish rebelion: canpolat

PostAuthor: kurd-sthanam » Wed May 30, 2012 11:57 am

this is about a forgotten kurdish rebelion: Janpolat emirate (kurdish and turkish: Canpolat) who had control over aleppo, damascus, mosul, marash, anteb, adana in short time. this rebelion is one of the reason for why the borders between kurdistan and turkey are not clear and mixed unlike other parts of kurdistan. the majority of these kurds were yazdan and alevi.
