Nice pictures. Are there many kurds in baghdad? And in what condition do they live?
Have you seen if there are many Arabs in erbil?
There are alot of Arabs in Erbil, they are mostly work in restuarnants and shopping mall typed jobs. Also as cleaners. Alot of Arabs also come as tourists.
For the Kurds in Baghdad generally not great conditions, I mean generally Baghdad isn't great to live in. In terms of life is generally tough there. In terms of the area, its old and alot of buildings and streets need repairing, not only that as you can see in the photo there is open sewage pretty much on every street.
In regards to number of Kurds in Baghdad I'm not precisously sure, because we are conentrated mostly in one area, but lets just say in Bab Al-sheikh its 80% Kurdish. Plus you can tell a Kurd from an Arab, not to sound racist but we are generally lighter and you know we have that Kurdish nose.
To tell you the truth the Arabization process in Baghdad is over-exaggerated, yes there are some Kurds who can't speak Kurdish or too scared to speak it, but mostly and I use that word carefully know and speak it amongst themselves. You know in Baghdad there is a Jala Talabani monument, and I have property stake in it, through inheritance of my grand dad.
