I'm in the process of learning these dances but as they get more complicated it's really hard as a foreigner. Insallah I will learn it properly. Love dancing and dressing up in kurdish clothes by the way

The second song is "Gêrîla Roj Baş" - Beser Şahîn's song...
Nice dance...
But I wish they had worn Kurdish clothes...

Clothes are part of your culture... If you don't wear your clothes - and if you aren't proud of your heritage - then you are not proud of your culture...
So many Kurds are trying to be "European"... That is so tragic...

I do I do not think that you wear a şalwar if you go to a marriage or to a festival![]()
it is normal that they do not wear such clothes
and something else: i can not be proud of something which god gave me, I am only proud of something I do, without any help! But this do not mean that I hate my culture and my nationality, I always thank god for being a kurd, for being a moslem, for having a culture like this..., but i can not be proud
and yes you are right many kurds are trying to be "European", but I am not one of them!
sorry...

yes they are very beautiful, but what can i say, nobody want to wear them..
and our culture has already been stolen, we can not do anything
i am living in germany and here in the place i live there are so many turks, alleging that gowend is their dance, and you can not demonstrate them that it is your one.
they do not call you a kurd, for them you are a -we call it "BERGTÜRKE" in germany- turks who are living i the mountains, and you can not do st. , i only can say them that i am a kurd
sorry for my reaction, i know that you did not mean it bad.
and another sorry for my english
