Well, there is an difference between armies/soldiers and warriors/tribal warriors.
Every nation got a army, of course, and according to you zurd, every nation with a army or ''warriors'' can be called militaristic, anyways, We Kurds did live in tribes, where the culture was centralized around being a warrior, and live as a warrior.
Norwegian Vikings, Japanese Ronin Samurai's etc. are warrior classes with similar culture as us, from when you were born, you were teached in the ways of the warrior, and not just serve in a army as an adult, and quit it after some years.
You may get the point now.
