If I go for holidays, the best way is to buy a huge bag of dried food, and let it in the house with liters of water. Enough for 1 month. She can go out and inside the house by a narrow window which I let open all the time in the kitchen.

If it was not for preventing Pirouette to be bitten I would have never killed it. Some vipers are endangered species.
Pirouette is alright, of course.
