And sure I will be tempted to give much money to my Kurdish school.

You are as stupid as I am :)) =))

I have been helping Kurds for nothing for years

NEVER AGAIN

All the hard work I did for Zulfu and all the lies he told has put me off

Zulu ruined what should have been a VERY successful business

Zulfu whose surname I should not mention is a complete and utter not nice person X(

My new Boss is an extraordinary and fine person. I have always admired him.

But the funniest is that he protests, telling that I am the extraordinary person and that he is grateful I come in his school.

So we are admiring us each other :ymhug:

I do love your photo looks just like you :ymdevil:

I ADMIRE YOU :ymapplause:

You have done far more that any Kurd has done to help Kurds and further their cause

Look at how much knowledge you have learnt and passed on to the Kurds themselves

You know far more about Kurdish history and culture than any 1,000 Kurds put together

Not only have you taught yourself Kurmanci, you are now capable of translating complex documents and are even compiling a dictionary :ymapplause:

The school is EXTREMELY lucky to have you :ymapplause:

Do they celebrate Halloween in Kurdistan?

Do Kurds believe in fortune telling and if so what form does it take - cards - coffee grounds - tea leaves - crystal ball - runes?

I do not think people in Kurdistan will have heard of I Ching

They have fortune tellers and some sheikhs who have a sort of foresight. The most common way is to read in coffee. I am sure they have never heard of I Ching, I will make a revolution.

Turkish warplanes bomb PKK targets in Kurdistan’s Dohuk province

Much as I hate to ask :-s

How far away from your school is the bombing?

50 km :D

But far and high in the mountains, in isolated or deserted villages. PKK stole these villages to Kurds or Christians in 90s and now they are still a trouble, but cities are safe, Turks would never bomb their own buiseness places and banks in Kurdistan.

#:-s Glad the bombing is nowhere near the school

I was rather worried :-s

Now I know why 400 teachers have left - the probably do not trust Turkey not to bomb them

Glad you will be safe :ymhug:

I think I will write an English blog also (translating my blog in English in fact) in the aim to acquire a best style and practice my grammar and the idiomatic use of that language. Because in Duhok, I might be asked to wrote some papers and perhaps to open a blog for my Boss. So I need to write if I want to improve myself.

I don't like to write in another language because my French is really fine (that's my artistic tool) and I don't like the idea to 'play' an instrument that is not mine, and have a stiff or incorrect English. But it is a bit exagerated because I won't write a literary piece of work, only a communication paper.

A friend of mine asked me to translate her dissertation about Qajar art in English, because it could itnerest a lot of people in the world, and especially Iranians or specialists of Iranian history.

I am sure I will have plenty of time in Duhok, for I don't look for cinema, restaurants, bars, dancing etc. I like to live as a Benedictine monk.

So soon I will open an English blog on WordPress. I have to find a title.

Reading, eating and drinking, the best part of a Benedictine.
