Sadly many of these protests though well meaning went unreported

Yesyerday many confused police officers and members of the public were confronted by groups of Kurds wandering round in circles in local shopping centres shouting "Bomb ISIS"

What should have been well publicised protests were often ignored or overlooked or misunderstood

Even though the media has been carrying articles about Kobane and the Islamic State most people in the UK are still confused as to what is actually going on

The overall response from the Kurds living in the UK has been absolutey brilliant - many Kuirds truely want to do their bit to support the Kurds fighting for their lives in Kobani

In several instances I have had my English friends explaining to local media - police and public exactly who the Kurds are and why they are protesting - when things were explained police tended to ignore the protesters

Kurds want to help

PLEASE give them leaflets to distribute so that the general public knows what the protest is in aid of

PLEASE find English speaking people who could talk to the police and contact local media

A great many lies are being spread on Twitter and Facebook

I had to comment on this picture because Kurds are not the same as Syrian or Turkish pigs

This should have been consistent with the UNSEC Resolution and the Assad Regime's attack was in direct conflict with the resolution. The Syrian Army states they were acting to "eradicate terrorists." Hezbollah's Al-Manar TV aired exclusive live footage of what it said was an ambush by Syrian troops on rebels south of Damascus, reportedly killing 175 rebels in an ambush.



The article does not make clear who is actually ploughing the bodies up - it could be the FSA or the Syrian Regime

NEVER accuse Kurds of behaving in such a manner

Kurds are fighting for their lives in Kobani it is not something to lie about

Also a great many lies being printed in new and social media

I personally believe that tomorrow will be the decider for Kobani

The people there NEED food water and arms to survive

It is shameful that the people of Kobani are being left to die

It is also shameful that nobody protested to help Kobani weeks ago

Why has everyone waited so long

4 weeks ago the Islamic State could have been prevented from reaching Kobani

NOW the answer seems to be to blanket bomb Kobani

Bombs kill innocent people - Kobani is full of innocent people

Stop the bombing - stop killing the innocent - stop destroying Kobani

Send tanks in so that they can see who they are fighting

that way they are a lot less likely to kill innocent people

We all know where there are a lot of tanks doing nothing
