You soak up knowledge like a sponge - I am the same - I have been learning new things - and studying new things all my life I have been in and out of uni and college - only since I had my accident that I do most of my studying and research at home - now I am more into business and give a lot of business start-up and development help and marketing advice

That same marketing training and experience is what leads me to see how the Kurds of Western Kurdistan are being cleverly manipulated - being shown to be a separate entity rather than part of a whole - by referring to Western Kurdistan as Rojava Kurds are denying that they are part of a much larger Kurdistan - indeed showing themselves to be nothing more and a small group of dissenters - who while suffering from extreme victimisation - seek nothing more than local self-government

Having leaders who betray the Kurdish dream of a united Kurdistan by stating Kurds do not want a Kurdish national state - is only helping to enforce their isolation - Kurds are being cleverly manipulated - being made to think of themselves as separate from Kurds in other areas X(

Tomorrow it is Candlemas Day.

In France, we make crêpes (sort of flat and large pancakes). When you jump the first one, you have to do it with a coin in your hand. If you can return your crêpe without mistake, you will have money all the year :D

I've begun to watch it. Not bad.

Beside, the initial warning about language and sexual intercourse bla bla bla… made me laugh. It is like all these funny beeps instead of hearing fucking etc. in video, interviews… Really a such thing is unthinkable in France  a movie has to be VERY porn and VERY violent after a such preamble. And concerning the language we have no censorship. I suppose we are still 'Gaulois'.

Did you manages to toss your crêpe without any mistakes?

What do you put on your crêpe - honey - jam - sugar - syrup?

In England everything seems to be either censored - deemed to be racist - or politically incorrect X(

I would never say anything that is racist or non PC :D

Concerning the movie and the slap, ok, the guy hit too strong, but really my hand was scratching to punch that little degenerated little one (future Joffrey Baratheon for the tantrum and Robbie Aryn for the suckling-addiction) :-D

In fact the one who needs to have hit her ass is the mother, but of course beating women is bad :-D

I have been to several peoples' homes where they hit their children X(

Anyone who tries to tell me that violence to children is expectable and it is part of their culture - needs reporting to the Social Services - I never once hit any of my children

If I train my dogs without ever having to hit them - it is even easier to train children to behave well - we just have to guide and encourage them - children get most of their mannerisms from their parents in their formative years

Many black people in England beat their children - especially those with Jamaicans ancestry - probably one of the main reasons we have so many dangerous gangs of violent black youths roaming the streets in some inner city areas X(

You should like the story of The Slap, then :D

Beating anyone is bad and disgusting but I dislike also these disastrous parents who just look at their young Attila and are just able to pray in a weak way : "sweeetiiie, don't do it, be kiiind…"

Always itches me to shout : "MOVE YOUR ASSES : EDUCATE YOUR MONSTER OR SEND IT IN AN ORPHANAGE ! (though a kennel would be more appropriate) " :ymdevil: :ymdevil:

These are salted and sweet crêpes :

Salted : I like the complete : ham, egg and gruyère.

Sweet : do not know yet : perhaps with an ice-cream and maple syrup.

Here it is very sunny and cold. We say that a sunny Candlemas means a 40 days Winter will come.
