Turkish man with four wives has his 32nd child

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has long encouraged families to have at least three children, but one father in Hatay has repaid the head of state’s demand more than ten-fold, siring 32 children from four wives. Thirty-two offspring, however, is not enough for Halit Tekin, who hopes to reach the nice round figure of 50 kids.

Kurds had better free themselves from Turkey quickly before more animals such as him decide to out-breed them

Disgusting man :ymsick:

Treats women as baby making machines

I wonder how he supports them all

Has he made the older ones work to support the younger ones - because he does not look akin to a millionaire to me X(

It was excellent to see all those people protesting yesterday :D

I hope that an equal amount of people will support the Yazidis

Sadly - while looking through the many photos of yesterday's protests - I found no mention of Yazidis :((

Actually I am rather disgusted with the lack of support Yazidis are receiving X(

What I believe should be Kurdish priorities

The rescue of kidnapped Yazidi women & girls (this has to be the first priority)

No Kurds who has a mother - daughter - wife of sister should remain silent

Securing the health and safety of the Yazidis 0n and around Mt Sinjar

Protecting Yazidi lands and shrines

Giving much needed aid to Yazidis in camps and elsewhere who now face a freezing winter with no proper weather-proof shelter - no warm clothing and no where near enough healthy food

Once the Yazidis are safe the next priority MUST BE the protection of Hasankeyf

If Kurds allow the flooding of this historical site then they will bear the SHAME for generations to come

Third could be Kobani

Kobani confuses me /:)

I do not understand why nobody protested or put much effort into saving Kobani until THOUSANDS of Kurds from Kobani and the surrounding area had run away the oncoming Islamic State

Why did Kurds wait until those in Kobani had lost everything

What was the benefit ???

The Kurds of Kobani certainly did not gain anything

The people of Kobani lost:

Family members - parents - siblings - husbands - wives - brothers - sisters - children

All their belonging - personal belongings - household items - their homes - their cars - their jobs -their businesses

Their close knit community and their entire way of life

Strategically and logically it would have much easier and far less expensive to prevent this disaster from ever taking place

America seems happy to spend billions of dollars in destroying Kobani

Will it now spend billions of dollars to rebuild that which they have destroyed?

In reality nobody ever had to bomb Kobani

The town of Kobani sits in open farmland

If would have been extremely easy to prevent the Islamic State from getting anywhere near the Town

Why was Kobani allowed to be attacked and almost destroyed ???

High on my list of priorities is also Erbil

The Citadel of Erbil is a rich historical repository holding evidence of many millennia of habitation; more than 8000 years old, it is the longest continuously inhabited site in the world. This longevity was made possible by the existence of abundant ground water, which has sustained the population throughout its long history. The Citadel rises 28-32 m above the surrounding city and overlooks the wheat fields which extend all the way to the Greater Zab River thirty kilometres to the west. The mound has been formed by successive layers of settlements: Assyrian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Persian and Greek.

Based on the results of UNESCO expert missions, the Organization has developed a project proposal which is a very important preparatory component of a broader project, the Conservation Master Plan and Nomination file to subscribe the Erbil Citadel at the World Heritage List (WHL).

A memorandum of understanding was signed between Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and UNESCO on 2nd September 2007 to proceed with the first phase of the rehabilitation and restoration project of Erbil Citadel.

A training course was organized by UNESCO Iraq Office in coordination with the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM). Seven specialized engineers from Kurdistan participated in the training, which was conducted in Kadir Has University in Istanbul–Turkey from 18 October to 3 November 2007 and covered the following topics:

Introduction to Conservation of Architectural Heritage in Iraq: International Principles of Protection & their Application in a National Context.
Introduction to Investigation & Conservation of Structural Failures in Historic Buildings.
Introduction to Maintenance Management Systems, Supervision, & Monitoring of Preservation Project.

http://www.unesco.org/new/en/iraq-offic ... l-citadel/

Erbil and Hasankeyf should both be of equal importance to Kurds

Neither site should be destroyed

Much has been made in the media about the vast Ebola outbreak in Africa

Agreed Ebola is a terrible thing

But the outbreak does seem to have been given disproportionately high media coverage

Image

Ebola and the Islamic State do appear to posses a strange commonality

Both were known to be dangerous

Both were known to be fast growing

Both were ignored while they continued to grow expediently
destroying thousand of lives in their wake

Both are now being given far greater media coverage that the situations warrant

?

Prestidigitation

I strongly suspect that within America both Ebola and the Islamic State are being used as reasons to remove yet more rights from the American people

People who live in a constant of fear will agree to anything their government wants to do - any and all laws the government wants to bring in if it convinces the population those laws are for the protection of the people X(
