its exactly what i said above (everyone is free to have his or her own taste and beauty is subjective) read it more carefully;)

but if u was really honest with urself ull admit that everyone has his or her own preferences..so thats the reason some care more about some other nation people.are u condemning this?.

in every country beauty standard can differ (it can depend on customs) but many features are nevertheless similar (even in asia country )and the whitness is one of those standard (among others)

Marie, it's YOU that needs to be honest, what Parzin said (and I said about 3 pages back!) is NOTHING like what you said at all - what you clearly said is that Arabs, North Africans in particular, are ugly people - that's nothing to do with taste, that's just plain ignorant and nasty and damn right, I condemn this.

Sure, we all have our preferences, sure some people prefer to be white, sure countries differ in their customs and tastes but throughout this thread all you've done is insult those that disagree with you, attack people who gave you an opinion (an opinion that you asked for) and make ridiculous racist comments.

Your posts are a million miles away from what Parzin said, you need to go back and re-read what you've said, perhaps then you might understand why not a single person on this thread has agreed with you.

The one thing that irks me to the point of no return is when someone generalizes about a whole nation, the last time I checked no one was waiting around and pining on our judgment as to their looks. i.e. they do not give a *fig* about what you and I or anyone for that matter thinks. So...lets all be good adults and get back to the original subject, or better lets all end here...this becoming a useless thread and nothing is making sense anymore and frankly I am deeply confused.
One more thing: make up or no...everyone is beautiful. Period. End. Next Subject please!!!

Well said Parzin

i see u still cant get my point that was only my personal opinion.u can support censorship but u should admit it at least, dont u think??

maybe for u that was racist..but its only ur personal view about it..

u right that my aim wasnt to be moralistic or sanctimonious unlike to him,cuz i dont think im able to give lesson to everyone but some people think they are this right thats quite presumptuous.. except that im sure some agree with the fact that we cant find everyone beautiful (except if we are very hypocrit) but havent the honesty to admit it for different reasons ,thats very coward attitude

in Europa dark skins are fine, for that reason everybody tried to be burnt by sun. A white skin is not considered as especially nice, at the contrary. Being pale on beach is a shame :)

mmh..u probbaly right but im not aware about fashion and modern style too much so i could have missed this point,
fine everyone is free to burn himself or herself on sun (what isnt very good for health) and i find very stupid that many people can waste so much their money in doing uv..

by the way its true that some dark people can be good .looking.and some white very ugly..

btw; ive found sometimes that some asian people were very nice looking even if they havent 100% white skin..

Yes - my point exactly... Because some people on this forum (*caugh*) seem to think that one can tell which ethnicity a person is simply by looking at them... I find this to be rather silly... I agree that there are general traits which one can associate with certain peoples - such as Far Eastern Asians having slit eyes and Africans having broad noses while Middle Easterns tend to have more facial hair etc... But I disagree with the notion that you can tell a persons ethnicity simply by looking at their face...

So I made the point that you could be from anywhere in the Middle East... You could also have been Greek, Italian or Spanish, by the way... Or Moroccan... You have a very typical Middle Eastern/Mediterranean look... :)

I mean -IF that person is you in the picture...
