There is not a drugs problem in Kurdistan.
Those who deal in drugs are arrested and put in jail.
I think that's a good thing. I don't care if drugs harm the ones that use it, their choice, but they might harm others and that is not acceptable.

Sorry but what do you mean? Do you mean medicine or drugs that cause a negative effect on the person using it?

Well there sgould ovbiously be a ban on them and the government should provide heavy fines on people who don't follow up on that.

fortunately taking drugs is a very big taboo in Kurdistan. But I hear that Iran promotes and helps drug smugglers so more people in Kurdistan can become addicted.

Designating drugs as illegal would only put money in the pockets of drug dealers who won't ask for age I.D. to sell your kids dangerous substances. It will likely not happen in the near future, but drugs can only be controlled and regulated, not eradicated by the government.

@Bohe Thats why you get the police to to find these drug dealers and take them down. Most of these drug dealers are foriengers, so tighten immigration and security at the borders, we should be fine.
