Not for me. Roman Catholic Church begins the Lent only Wednesday (so that's the reason of Pancakes Day) but for Chaldeans today and tomorrow are 'pure' Monday and Tuesday so… NO PANCAKES, NO DONUTS, NO WAFFLES. :((

But I am SURE I will lost many many pounds after 50 days. :ymparty:

I am not starving. The first weeks it is even funny, as like in travel you have to change your habits of feeding and meals, with an exotic dinner.

The last 10 days are duller, it becomes monotonous.

So Easter I will DEVOUR a whole lamb ! :))

Not far from 26.4 BMI. Sore and tired because of Yoga ? In Lent I sleep 9 hours, btw.

Today :

Sweet black coffee, humus (I finished it, I have to find something else for tomorrow), roasted bread.

Dinner :

Mussels, tomatoes and penne, perhaps a salad of endive, tea or tisane.

Morning:

Sweet black coffee.

No more humus today. So I cooked what I called Komané Tuna, which is a recipe invented by the bishop of Zaxo-Amadiyya for the Lent (Komané is the name of his village) : Open a tuna can, squeeze it to get rid of the juice, make it boiled in a saucepan with lemon juice. When it is quite dried, eat it with bread.

Dinner : Carrots & semolina with coriander and cumin. Tea.
