Hard as I try I cannot understand Turkey's deal with the EU

ISIS attacks Kobane

Turkish tanks sat on the Syrian Turkish border watching ISIS move into Kobane and did nothing

Turkey allowed ISIS into Kobane to destroy it

When Kurds from Kobane went to the Turkish border for help, they were not allowed to take their cars containing most of their possessions over the border into Turkey with them

Kurds ran to Turkey for safety

Kurds lost their families and friends, their homes and businesses

Kurds were treated so badly by the Turks when they got to Turkey

Kurds risked their lives to escape from Turkey

All of the Kurds who flee Turkey by sea already know people or are related to people who have lost their lives trying to escape from Turkey to Greece and other EU countries

Last year, nearly 4,000 refugees died trying to make this journey

Now the EU intend to reward Turkey with €6 billion for it's ill treatment of Kurdish refugees

Kurds who fight ISIS in Syria

Are rewarded by Turkey killing them in Syria

Kurds who sit peacefully in their own traditional homeland are slaughtered by Turks

Now the poor Kurds who have risked their lives to escape from Turkey to EU

Will be sent back to Turkey to be abused again

And Turkish citizens, who still have homes and a country of their own

Will be granted visa-free travel to Europe

As further reward for killing Kurds

Turkey’s long-stalled application to join the EU will be fast-tracked
