2017 : a year in Duhok

This is where you can talk about every subject (previously it was called shout room)

The Ginger kitten might find a home tomorrow. A woman came at 10.am to to take her. I hope everything will be ok. Today the vet came to vaccine her. She is sweet and less struggled- wrestled than my little devils when the syringe hurt her.

Yesterday I bought necklaces for my 3 cats, on which I wrote my number phone. Papillon and Pistache have too tiny necks for the moment, it will be in some months.

Now Pirouette… well I try to put it on her and to find the right diameter but it is not very easy :ymdevil:

Updated : the ginger kitten had been picked up this evening by her new family.

Believe me, they have 1 bed, 1 divan, 2 big armchairs for sleeping inside. But in my plants and on the dirty ground, it is more funny.

That is definitely a SNAKE

It looks as though the kitten has actually taken it INSIDE your house :-s

Is it poisonous?

Perhaps the kitten will bring you snakes as presents - some cats love to take their human friends presents :D and drop such things as live spiders on the bed =))

Of course it is poisonous, it is a viper of Levant :

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macrovipera_lebetina

As it is an endangered species, I regret to have killed 2 this summer  But my crazy cats forced me to.

Pirouette brought it inside the house. Because as a good mother she wants to give a good education to her kittens. Then she teaches them how to hunt : mouse, bird, rat… and viper.

But when they miss their exam, these animals escape in the house. When it is a mouse or even a rat, ok, I let it find an exit by itself. But I would not like to put the feet on a viper by night, or to find one in my wardrobe.

So I killed it and give it back to the 2 little saint George for they play with that tiny beast.

Pirouette used to bring things into the house for her other kitten - including the pigeon =))

But vipers are serious things - fortunately it seems to be a small, possible young snake

Where is it's parents

And if something the size of the ginger kitten is able to find it's way into your wardrobe it would not be difficult for a snake to do so :?

Could one get onto your bed :-s

If a viper enter in my house without cat's authorization, it would be instantly hunt by them. That's one of the reason why people in Middle East, since ancient times, appreciate cats : they kill snakes.

By the way, people who read the blog may click on the adds, it would help me to feed my cats :p

The adds are on my blog : https://neverwithoutmycat.blogspot.com not on facebook.

I have a wish list on amazon but it is sleeping for the posts sucks. I have never got my own books when I ordered them. Or there is DHL but it costs a kidney to pay it.

If you have an adblock on your navigator you might not see them.

Yesterday, c. 5 pm, 3 or 4 helicopters turned above Duhok with a Kurdish flag tied on their tails : pro-Yes-to-Independence campaign.

About time they showed an interest in the vote :ymdevil:

A friend of mine was behind the small vote they had some years ago and then 98% of Kurds wanted independence :ymparty:

Sadly, since then many Kurds have been brainwashed by Ocalan - who has stated many times he does NOT want any Kurdish group to have independence X(

And the shit Gorran are always causing trouble in an attempt to gain more power for themselves X(

Any Kurd who does not vote for Independence no longer has the right to call himself a Kurd X(

Kurds not backing Independence are a disgrace to their families - traitors to all those who have died fighting for Independence - and worse still, they will have deprived their descendants of the right to call themselves Kurds

In the city I saw on a car window, posters of Barzani and a BELÊ (yes) + the Kurdish flag. I am sure it is KDP print, but it any case, it is a mistake. The KRG should make a campaign by insisting on the fact it is a YES for Kurdistan not for Barzani or the current government. I don't think the No could win, but a large abstention would harm the weigh of that referendum.
