I don't know if this is something that the good people here on the forum care about, but like it or not, it is time for the Oscars. As a Scandinavian, of course I am hoping that the two Scandinavian nominees do well in the category Best foreign movie. I have seen them both:

This year, because of Trump, if a Kurd is nominated, and is an Iraqi/Syrian/Iranian native, it is impossible to attend the ceremony. Well done.
