2018 : A Year far from Kurdistan

This is where you can talk about every subject (previously it was called shout room)

I admit to being a sugar-addict but I do NOT wish to get rid of this addiction, I enjoy eating a small bar of chocolate every day :ymdevil:

My addiction to fruit juice is probably more harmful :D

Do you really weigh all your food

During my day I will eat an assortment of:

Beetroot

Butter (tiny amount on new potatoes)

Cheese (small cube or grated on potatoes)

Chicken

Chocolate (small bar)

Fish

Garlic

Jacket potato

Lettuce

New potatoes

Olives

Rice

Spinach

Tomatoes

Veggie crisps or olive bread (only bread I eat)
(I love olive bread but only available from Co-op shops)

That's the aim of the diet, for people who can't help to swallow a lot of sugar.

My addiction to fruit juice is probably more harmful :D

I agree :D

Do you really weigh all your food

No, because after the 1st week you know the weight of your portions.

All the food you listed is not harmful if you don't eat too much some of them (some veggies like lettuce can be eaten as you wish).

The point is to evaluate how many calories you have to eat to maintain your current weight, according to your BMI and your activity. This diet is good for me because I don't like sugar. Most of people would prefer more starch and fruits and less meat.

About exercise, only 30 mn and 5000 steps/day is a good start. Sports does not make you lost weight, btw.

Papillon just came back from the vet for his vaccines. He is a big cat : 5.5 kg, but very healthy, perfect heart and lungs, a "very pleasant and sociable cat", said the vet.

His story is fascinating for French doctors, when they see his Kurdish Passport :D

No need to diet, but I decide myself to cut his non-dried food (tin meat) and give him a few raw meat and his 2 sticks at morning :

and also the ham rind I take off the slices I buy. He thinks it's SNAKES and plays hours with that :ymdevil:

I hate these summer/winter time changes. I would like to stuck at our real time all the year, as in Kurdistan.

Now at morning, Papillon does not understand why we should get up so late.

And I am terribly hungry at dinner time :D

The normal time in France is the Greenwich one (the same than Paris). But even if we stay at winter time, it would mean Germany time. Alsatian region would be satisfied but Britany less, I guess.

I think the autumn change is dangerous because suddenly it is dark an hour earlier in the evening and a lot of rural/country areas do NOT have street lighting

Dogs appear to adjust quickly (ish) =))

I think you will love this :x

Link to original video:

Daily Mail Story:

Baby bear's EPIC struggle to climb a snowy mountain and keep
up with its mother captivates millions of people around the world

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... lions.html

My thought:

If the bear had been a Kurd it would have given up
and stayed at the bottom of the mountain on it's own
