Posted: Sat Nov 17, 2007 11:16 pmSaid Mrad is a “music lover”. Born 1968 in Ferzoul, Lebanon, his career in the music scene dates back to 1989 when he first started as a DJ, playing music in nightclubs all around Lebanon.
Through the years, Said Mrad acquired an admirable sense for music, and he knew exactly how to serve the needs of the public. He worked as a DJ at radios in 1992 and 1993. Along with his producer Jean Mouawad, he started his new profession in the realm of music by remxing the music of famous Arabic artists like Oum Kalthoum and many others.
The latest release of the Lebanese DJ features
some of his own club tracks and - besides others - remixes of Issam Rajji's “Hizzi Ya Nawaem" and Abdel Halim´s "Gabbar''.
