I think at least 2/3 of Kurdish names are ''very'' beautiful.

My top 20 favorite Kurdish names are as following:

Aso, Sirwan, Nishtman, Shlêr, Hêro, Chinûr, Chîmen, Rojan, Rojîn, Jwan, Hejar, Hîwa, Helgurd, Brusk, Ziryan, Firmêsk, Gelawêj, Dîlan, Rêbwar, Rûnak (Ronak).

I would really appreciate it if you could post the meaning of the names as well, as I know is important in kurdish name giving

Most of Kurdish names have clear meanings. Here is a quick translation of some of those names:

Aso: Horizon,
Sîrwan: a major river in south and eastern Kurdistan. It has cultural symbolism in local Kurdish folklore.
Nîshtman: Homeland
Shlêr: name of a flower, (I think ''tulip'')
Hêro: name of a flower
Chînûr: name of a flower
Chîmen: the green face of nature
Rojan: likely means (Mrs) sun
Rojîn: (likely measn ''sunny'')
Jwan : Romantic discussion between two lovers
Hejar: poor, oppressed
Helgurd: a mountain in Kurdistan, probably has other meanings since looks like being made of two words Hel+gurd,
Brusk: lightning
Ziryan: a pleasant wind
Firmêsk: tears of eye
Gelawêj: a star in the sky,
Dîlan: kind of Kurdish dance, it also means the 'captives' (indirect reference to 'Kurds' in literature)
rêbwar: passenger (of life)
Rûnak :means bright, the same as in Indian language
Hîwa: hope

In case we have a daughter I want to call her Sarê, both because I think it's beautiful and because it works in my native country as well. What does it mean though?

The beatuful name of Sarê is name of a mountain on the sources of the Tigris in northern Kurdistan.

Really?! Interesting to see one more unisex given name in Kurdish! There are already a lot of unisex names in Kurdish, which one can interprete as a sign for existence of potantiel of gender equality in Kurdish society.

My favourite names for boys:
Dara,Zana,Dana,Sirwan and Kemran
For girls:
Seiran,Nasrin,Jwan,Firmesk and Samira.
Maybe Samira not realy Kurdish name.
And i like to know what does it mean.
Also i dont know the meaning of this names:
Narine and Twana
