Hi, could anyone tell me some popular/modern names that are used in Kurdistan (for both boys and girls)
when i say modern/popular i am referring to , for example, what would be the equivalent of the popular english names Emily & Jack or more modern names that are used nowadays e.g. mckenzie..or do naming trends in kurdistan tend to be quite traditional?
Also, what are some common surnames?

some popular surnames are amedi, barzani, berwarî, hewramî, kurdistani, mukri, jaf, rami, zana and zêbarî...
some popular first names are alan, zana, karwan, sirwan, heval, dîlan, şivan, azad, rojîn, rojan, aso, liyan.
