Баку= Bakı , Capital of Azerbaycan. Should have been more detailed about it. I think I'm love with a girl there. Her parents are very conservative, so I fear going to meet her parents and also maybe the air quality.

Yea, the Kurdish New year is usualy around the Spring Equinox. Don't know much about how Kurds celebrate New Year. When I visited Kerkuk was mostly around Türkmen. :(

Where are ya going in Türkiye? Do ya want help learning Turkish? I speak Russian, Mongolian and Turkish fluently. I know only some Kurdish though.

The New Year isn't always on the 21st of March. The spring equinox can be on the 20th too.

I know the İranis, Azeri Türks, Türkmens celebrate it on the Spring equinox like the Kurds do.
From what I know is before the New Year ya realy clean your house, buy new clothes, some flowers, gifts, sweets for the celebration. It lasts 12 days and people visit family and friends. The last day of it the family will go to a park or somwhere out in nature and have a gathering and feast.

anyway - happy new year !

... i didnt made any resolution - from my experience i know it doesnt work (for first few days, but later.... :? ) - but i have plans for my life and i am doing my best to realize them.
