"funny" indian guy

PostAuthor: Kulka » Wed Mar 10, 2010 7:47 pm

maybe i should put it in joke and entertainment - coz i really dont know cry or laugh over that... today when i went to my factory for our annual rewords for the best workers (that many of them are Kurds!), i was sitting in our canteen and eating the meal that they gave to us at the end of celebration. people who was at work today also came to the canteen, when they had break. there is one indian guy (english-indian, i think born in uk), who is working in my factory. many times he used to be not nice to me, but i didnt care. it seems like he was always angry or upset when i said that i am kurdish. today was similiar situation. he came to the table next to mine and asked if its polish flag that i have on my neck. i said its kurdish. after that he said: turkya is the best. i said: yes, turkya is the best in killing kids. he didnt get my point, so i told him about few armed guys who killed 14 years old boy last year in april. he said: because this boy has a bomb. still polite i reply him that this boy didnt had a bomb. he asked - how do you know. i said - coz someone recorded that on video. and then he said: kurdish are like animals. i said - dont talk to me any more. and i told him i should report that to office, coz its not allowed in this factory to make racist comments. he said that this is his opinion and he has the right to have it and he didnt put it on me. i didnt say anything else, coz i didnt see any point to talk more with something like that indian. i finished my food, went to office and asked managers (very important people) if it is allowed in our factory to make racist comments. they were surprised, so i told them what happened. i said that i am not going to let anyone to talk like that about kurdish people, whom i respect, who are everything for me, who give me help and support that i dont have from anyone else. one guy said thats its absolutely not allowed and they are going to sort it out. but because the bus was waiting for me to take me home and i didnt know the name of that indian, we decided to sort it out tomorrow when i will come to work for my normal shift.
i report it to office and its my first and last warning for that guy. if he will ever do something like that again, i will sort it out privat way - but he will be very sorry that time.

i cant do that, coz it will make peoblems to my crazy beloved kurdish, if they will do anything to him they might loose the job - anyway, my people there have too much tolerrance. usually they laugh of things like that, maybe because they know that people who talk like that are mentally disabled. but as long as i will work in that factory - its my job to defend my people and stand for them. i cant do anything else to pay them for everything they are doing for me. maybe i look like little chicken, but when i am angry i am worse than devil from the hell. i am ready to kill for what i love.

It's good you reported this about him saying ''kurdish are like animals''. That will probably be the only thing considered hate though. The other comments he made are just his opinions. I wouldn't tell your Kurd friends about it or beat him up because it wouldn't help, as it would fuel him to hate Kurds even more, and if ya got caught ya could get fired or worse. I'd just wait and see what your Manager decides to do to him...

i am also interested what they will do - but these people, managers were really very upset, coz our factory is proud of having more than 30 nationalities among workers and any racist behaviour is not tolerrated.
you see one time i was with my kurdish brothers and one of supervisors came to us. i said - as a joke - that i have to work with these lazy kurdish people. and the supervisor told me not to talk like that, but we explain to him that i am also kurdish, so it was ok and since that day, he always says that i am kurdish. but if even joke like that (lazy is not so much bad word anyway) is not accepted, so i am sure trhis indian behaviour will be punished.
anyway - i love animals :D . sometimes they are more smart than some people. dont you think so, my beloved lions? :D

tiger - kulka

Well,I also love animals, yea, but I'd take it as an insult being called a animal. I'd assume he meant that he's higher evolved than me, and that I'm basically a sub-human.

Indians hehe

PostAuthor: BC2000 » Thu Mar 11, 2010 6:15 am

Funny people sometimes hehe. Here in Toronto, they could very well be the biggest racists I've ever met. A lot of the young indians are all acting black, wearing baggy pants, talking "ebonics", listening to hip hop etc but they would lose their minds if their sisters or daughters came home with a black guy. For me, being half black, that just pathetic to see. Because most of them are darker than black people, but they think they are white. Pathetic. I always remind my mom and dad about this, since they are big fans of "Hindustan" and their Bollywood movies. Even here in Toronto, the indians caste system is effective. But then again, who are we to speak? Kurds are sometimes worse.

I think this guy had a crush on you and didn't know how else to get your attention, but to be provocative. But you did the right thing reporting it. So just leave it at that from now on. Don't retaliate in any other way.

Its more unlikely that the office will do anything to him. Its good that kulka has reported what happened but if the guy is keep annoying and swearing at the people, especially to kulka coz she said in the first post that this man has been nasty to her many times in the past, i think someone needs to talk to him and give him a last warning to stop otherwise he will face his consequences!

There are many morons in this world that soft way doesn’t work all the time and you need to be a bit tough with them. Hope everything will work out just fine kulka xan :)

oh, today he wasnt at work, so nothing was done, but i am patient, no need to be in hurry, sooner or later ... 8) .
yes, he was not nice to me several times, but i didnt care, coz i dont pay too much attention to the people who doesnt mean anything to me. but nobody is allowed to offend what i love. i dont know whats wrong with these indian people - one day an indian women who work in my factory said that kurdish people are dirty and untidy - the biggest rubbish statement that anyone can make about kurds. but she always talk rubbish, so i only speak to her, with no other official action, coz it was no point in that case. i only asked her in how many kurdish houses she used to be to say something like that. of course, she never been in any. i told her that i could say a lot about indian people, coz i rent the room from indian couple (believe me, headache), but i am trying to keep them in order and i dont hestitate to talk to them if for example kitchen is too messy sometimes. what is funny - they listen to me and they keep saying ;"sorry, kulka, sorry kulka" :D . i used to be in many kurdish houses and i never seen any mess and dirty - but maybe i was lucky  - joking of course.
