Which cities are you going to ? Can you please take some pictures and posted when you come back ? Not the new building or new projects , but mostly nature , peshmergas , Nan :D ( bread) and kurdish food and anything you feel like it . You will be doing us a favour.

I hope you will have a nice trip .

of course talsor, no problem!

im not even sure yet, it is a very last minute trip, i only booked my flights on friday. i am flying to slemanyi, and staying in halabja. we will be visiting family and our friends families all over i think, and also travelling to the mountains, to other beautiful sights, because my husband wants to show me as much as possible of his beautiful home land. i will be staying with family my whole stay, so ill be sure to get as many naturally beautiful pictures as possible.

and talsor...i cannot wait for the nan! :)

Nani kishmish is not a plain nan. It is a different recipe. But I don't know about Nani Kada.
I remember another nan, called 'Astok', made just like nanit teniki but it is thick.

I am not sure if that is the case for Northern Kurdistan. Never heard. However, I heard something called 'lawash' which is also Kurdish I think.
