He is a great player , but just like Ozel he is disappointing when it comes to Kurds and Kurdistan . These guys are busy making money and completely disconnected from their roots . I'm yet to hear them making a simple statement in Kurdish or even saying they are Kurds .

You cant compare him to Özil and co. He is definitely proud of his roots. In Ueafa.com and Bayer Leverkusen website he is labeled as swiss with Kurdish origin. If he wasnt proud of his origin, the Ueafa and Bayer Leverkusen wouldnt label him as Kurd. It must have been him who told his origin.

I heard and believe that he said on German Tv that he is a proud Kurd. But that was when he played for Werder Bremen long time ago. After he became famous he started to say he is Turk. And I can tell you why. From my experience, the German Football federation and even maybe the President made pressure on him to call himself Turk, so they could commercialize him better for their integration for desperate usuals Turks. Believe me Germany is one of the biggest opportunist countries in the world. They would do anything if it has a bonus for themselves. Remember Germany was the only western country which did not consent to help the Libyans. And afterwards Germany was one of the first countries who wanted to make deals because they smell the money. The same with Iraq war. Germany was the biggest enemy of the Iraq war. Their given reason "we are against war and killing civilians for no real reason". Afterwards Germany one of the first countries starting economic relations with South Kurdistan (I am fine with that). They were against the Iraq war but at the same wasnt it German firms who sold Saddam the Gas? Isnt it Germany selling Turkey since decades weapons and tanks with which Kurds are killed? Germany is one of the biggest opportunist countries on this world. Other countries like England might also be opportunistic but at least they have more backbone and do support Kurdistan even though pressure from Turkey while Germany almost acts like Turkeys "bitch" of Europe.


Remember even though embargo on Libya, which countries weapons were found among Gaddafis men?
