Hello,

I'm enrolled in a course focusing on educational systems around the world. For my project, I am to interview Kurdish people from Iraq to learn more about education in that region. If you or someone you know is interested in interviewing please let me know.

* No identifying information will be included
* This is not for publication--only for course paper
* There is no compensation, just the satisfaction of deepening people's understanding of your culture/traditions
* Interview can be done via Skype, e-mail, or chat
* Both current and former residents of Iraq welcome!

I hope to hear from any interested parties!

Thanks,
Brian

You can certainly appreciate the Anonymity on a Kurdish forum , so I doubt very much you will find any volunteers considering the level of prosecution Kurdish activists and their families face in turkey , Iran and Syria if their true identity is revealed . I know it is hard for you as an american to understand , but a mere article in a newspaper would get you 10 years in jail . Considering what is being written here by some members they could face life in prison . Not a joke

I'm advising all members to avoid any direct communication on line with someone they do not know .

your best bet for the information you are seeking is Kurdish community in your region .
